View Full Version : Where's the TLC?
Every other night it's KFC or leftovers from last night's endeavor to the greatest wing place in town. And it's all fine and dandy if you have plans for manufacturing your saliva as cooking oil, but I'm looking for something more tender than exposed chicken, marinating in a pool of it's own disease. I am no longer satisfied with the cheap, quick meals of today's society. Although, I attribute my hedonism as fuel to this menacing market. What happened to your Great Aunt's spaghetti and mozzarella casserole? What happened to tradition? Am I victim or am I responsible? The world doesn't seem ready for a change. My parents, still too tired to cook.

TLC is my initials. Creepy man....
I mean, who gets a home cooked meal every night? The changes...oh the changes!! Forgive the melodrama.

I do,
I do,
What's it like? Do you sit around the table with your family and talk about the day's events? Do you all separate into your own private quarters and engulf your food with your eyes set dearly on the television? I want so much I can't have.

yeah, we sit at the table, me and my sister, my mom eats when my dad comes home, I usually just eat and ignore

By 'home cooked' do you mean get some food out of a packet, stick it in the oven for 30 minutes, then eat? If so, then I eat home cooked meals every day

My mum cooks dinner every night. When dinner is done cooking we all sit around the table in the kitchen and eat, this means there is no TV which is the best part.

LOL, I have a home cooked meal about twice a month. I eat frozen dinners, fast food, or decent resturants everyday.
Good food is the only thing I miss from when I lived with my parents.
