Stolen iPod

Alright , my iPod was stolen. Well kind of , I was going to smoke a blunt at a buddies house at lunch. I was at the smoking pit and this guy I know (not best friends or anything) asked me to listen to them till the end of lunch. I said ok , he had borrowed them before.

The blunt turned into vodka shots and that turned into a little party. So I didn't make it back to school for about 2 and a half hours.

I get out of the car and I remembered I left it with this guy , I cant find him so I go to the last few minutes of class.

I find him after the bell , hes like yoo I lost it. Im like wtf , he said he left it on a table and lost it. I was high and peacefull and im like we'll talk about it tommorow.

I got into the car , my moms like wheres your iPod ( I wear huge sony headphones) I explained to her.

She proceeds to run into the school and confront this guy , shes yellin at him and im just trippin out and telling her to chill out. (Im also very embaressed) Im 17 and my moms getting involved.

So she told him bring it by monday , today comes and he just says he couldn't find em (wtf?) and im a "mommas boy"

I didn't do shit today either , now im not a small guy 5'9 180ish decent shape. Hes bigger but not by much.

My mother wants to call the cops , I dont really want to. I want my iPod back (it was old) but I love it and its a pain in the wallet to buy a new one.

I could fight him instead , but then I would get suspended which could hurt my university admission standings and I probabley wouldn't get the iPod back anyways.

Hes also friends with alot more people then I am ( Im fairly new) .

I just dont know what to do , fight or call the cops or nothing and let Karma deal with him and buy a new one.

Dude, you should've done what your mom proceeded to do, have the sense to not leave the issue right then and there. I would've demanded to know when he was going to pay you back. Now he won't take you very seriously unless you do something drastic, like calling the cops.

I'd go back and demand it, and if all else fails, get the school involved, since it happened while you were in school. You can't be flacid about it, demand it.

They basically told me to go to hell , since its part of the rules that they arent responsible for expensive items.

The best thing you can do is keep getting on his nuts, to eventually make him feel like an ass, preferably around people he knows. That doesn't mean to get violent, but portray you'd take it to the next level. You gotta make him feel like a bitch.

no it was a shitty wallet that was falling to peices lol, i think they were just after the cash that was inside (if there was any left... i was VERY drunk and probably out of cash by that time)

One thing I've never understood about stealing MP3 players, is for one, the person who steals it doesn't have an adapter for it to recharge itself, so really, you only get to listen to it until the battery runs out. Second, you don't have the software to download new music. :wtf:

Exactly. Size means nothing. I have seen 5'2 guys take out 6'4 240lbs monsters before. If you want a quick ending, go for a straight shot to the jaw. There is a nerve behind the jaw and when it is struck, it IS lights out. For guys who are 8ft tall and 400lbs, it will still knock them out. If you hit them hard enough in the jaw, it will actually impact their brain giving them a concussion. :)

For a bloody battle, go for the bridge of the nose. That will cause their eyes to water up, blinding them, then that gives you a chance to really give it to them.

I recently quit , but I have an interview at Danier ( jacket place) as well as Club Monaco.

The money isn't really the issue I have enough saved up to buy one , and I totally agree with the girls & the teachers thinking im a barbarian.

I wouldn't want to perpetuate the reputation black guys have at my school , I have already managed to build up a semi decent report with the teachers and come around university recomendations time I think a letter would be x10 times more valuable then an iPod.

I've worked somewhat hard to be seen as a clean cut black student( who puffs the ganja reguarly(but noone really cares) and wouldn't want to F*ck it up and end up looking like a typical run of the mill thug gangster moron.

But yeah , anybody here ever work @ Club Monoco or Danier? I have a few questions
