I work as a lifeguard currently and I'm in a pool 8 hours a day. By the end of the shift I can't control my coughing, its from the Chlorine in the pool definitly because all of the guests/lifeguards all have this bad cough.
The place is an entire indoor water-park so the chlorine has really no where to go and considering all water attractions and the amount of chlorine they use its not a wonder why for the terrible feeling in the lungs.
I've been working there for 3 months and I have sort of became use to it. But sometimes i cant even sleep at night my cough is so bad. I'm quitting in 2-3 weeks because of all the stress the job provides and the long drive to and from work.
Any suggestions?
Wasn't really expecting someone to be 100% sure on this but it is the worst cough i ever have when it happens.
