Finally told parents, told my Dad just then...

Okay, I told my mom about 2 weeks ago, when I hadn't seen her in months (family issues) and I finally had the balls to tell my mom I smoke weed. She wasn't too surprised and ultimately she said she's okay with it as long as I keep it on moderation and don't do it around her.

Well, I actually live with my dad (whom use to smoke weed, sell it, grow it etc. for like 20 years) but stopped about 13 years ago.

Now it's been hard for me to tell him because I got a 13yr old sister (who knew most of the time) and a younger brother (who's 4) and my step mom - whom's strongly against it and not to mention we've had a few issues with me and school.

Well, since I am doing good at school and everything I decided tonight i'd tell him.

WELL, aren't I glad i told him... He doesn't mind at all, he reminisced his past experiences and told me stories about when he was high and stuff, and he said that he might even have a sesh with me sometime.

He asked me before when do I toke up and said I usually do it and I said when he went to bed and I did it in my room, and he's like "Well, you can do it now if you wanna out here"

Conditions are; my little brother and step mom can't see it, that's it :thumbsup:

I never thought both my parents would of ever known, and actually accepted it... :)

i live with my mom, she dosnt care if i smoke , she even buys me dutches if i give her the money and sometimes she just buys them, she just dosnt want me doing it in the house which i do all day lol

both my parents know i smoke and grow it, they never had any problem what so ever with it, every sunday i cook breakfast for everyone while smoking a bone at 8am and there is nothing like cooking and toking at the same time while your family is around without a care in the world.

Just wanted to say something about a phenomena I noticed. That first paranoia-free joint is a real blast! You don't realize just how much of a downer fear and paranoia can be, until you have that first fear-free joint. For me, it was getting "California legal". It was unbelievable! Man, you're lucky, congrats. I wish I could tell mine, but I haven't seen my dad except for like 3 times in my entire life (he's an ass) and pretty much my whole family is Jehova's Witnesses, so they're too damned strict about all that crap.

My mom flipped when she found out I got my earrings pierced more than when she found out I smoke cigs.

As your parents age, they will get all those infirmities that pot helps- like arthritis, and IBS. Hopefully they will skip MS, ALS, ALzheimer's, cancer, etc, but as soon as they start griping about all those aches and pains, google whatever ails them and cannabis! Show them the reports and studies- then offer them a joint or better yet, a vape! - Granny:hippy:

My mom takes painpills and I mentioned that legal drugs like vicoden kill 20,000 americans a year and she should smoke instead, and she laughed at my face and told me to stop being such a stoner :/. However I will persist!

Ah, I envy you. I told both my aunt and uncle (I live with them) that I toke and it didn't go to well. Every time they catch me, they flush my shit. Fortunately they've only caught me twice and that was in the same week. They haven't caught me since December 21st. My aunt doesn't even care, I even got her to eat a firecracker last week. Again, gratz to you, peace.

im gonna have to second that. my dad is HIGHLY HIGHLY against pot or any drug. i dont know y but he jsut is. hes never tried it and never will. and trust me he would never try it. when he found out that i smoked pot(found it in my room) he was just so disgusted in me that he wouldnt tralk to me for like a week and he still brings it up all the time when i mess up on sometiin or forget sometin. if i even mention it around him he gets pissed!

my mom freaked out when she cought my friend with weed over at my house, then she found roaches that i convinced her must have been someone else's, then, my cousin brought me a pack of reds, and she came in and i threw em in the drawer and slammed it, she asked what it was, and i told her it was porn thinking she would be less mad, and then the next night i went to get them, and my sister was in my room with the lights off. so my mom just said "if you want to smoke i cant stop you, but i think it is stupid. just dont do it around me". i dont know if that includes weed though.
