I treat my dealer like a friend. Cus I know people who just call their dealer like "Hey..do you have any weed? can i come get it right now? ok, bye". and things like that.

My dealer is more like an aquaintance. Not quite a friend, but I'm not an ass to him.
I call to see if he's at his place and to see if I can go pick up some bud, I usually go with one of my roommates. We do our business while we chat a bit, then go our different ways.
It'd be different if we had more in common.
Ive had a few dealers that I had gone to school with, been friends with a while and known for many many years.
I rarely buy drugs from a person that I dont know.

Any I've ever purchased from, I've only met when I'm buying. So they're mostly just a dealer to me, I'll get it and go. Most of the time I take my friends and go through their dealers, better hookups.

It all depends.
The guy I usually go through, I been friends with him for a long time. There's no hassles with him, I don't even have to leave the house. :)
Other guys are more business-oriented, we knew mutually it's business only and were cool with that. That doesn't mean we can't chill out or anything, but when it all comes down to it, it's the bottom line.

Mine is really shady and doesn't talk much, so he is just a dealer to me pretty much.

I always try to treat a dealer like if he were one of my friends.. Most of the times I end up smoking my dealer out a few times right after I meet one. Of course if the dealer rips me off .. then i have no respect for him... but if he gives me a good hook up... Ill roll some of the weed I just boguht off him and smoke it with him.... just to be nice

I have to approach this from the other direction, as a grower...
The only people I have ever dealt with (often in gift form, rather than sales) are close friends who I've known since before I even SMOKED, lol.
And that's the way it should be... no one gets ripped off, shorted, robbed, or ratted.

My dealer is my good good friend
(Note it's 4:20!)
Gotta shake the hand the feeds you :)
I rarely do this, but if I'm out of town and buying from someone I don't know, I don't do it if their friends are around or if their shady at all, and I have to measure that shit (Thank god for handheld digi scales).

Of all the different dealers I used/have used I treat them however I knew them before I bought weed from them. If they were friends I treated them like a friend, stranger, then like a stranger, etc etc.

Damn i was just talking to a friend about this same topic. I think when you start doing business with a friend you don't know to well you kinda stunt all chances of a friend dealer relationship. I've known my dealer since b4 i can remember. I sometimes get swept up in a transaction and forget to let him respond to questions like,"How's your day?" and basic banter but im trying to fix that.I was actually going to go to lunch with him but he was Re-ing up in St. Pete so duty called. Im going to try to reschedule though.

the guy I USED to buy from was cool and all, a fun guy, but he always packed small bags unless he really likes you, and I'm not the kinda guy he likes, so although we were cool, he was really just business with me. Plus he was unreliable as hell so I just stopped askin from him... lookin for a new dealer since my neighbor left (he was my new one)... not fun, being without a connect...

B4 I had my first main hook up I usally got weed through friends and aquaintances. When I got my main dude it was weird cuz he was all wanting to hang out n shit all the time and feel me out. It was mostly buisness for me.
I only like the buisness side of the game because if things get fucked up between friends theres confusion.

most of my best friends are growers/dealers... I have many friends that deal on and off... I have a few dealers that are more of aquantances but I'm cool with everybody and treat everyone like a friend unless they do something to give me a reason not to.
I just try to be nice, treat 'em like they're people I just met, cause they usually are. Little banter, be nice, but not intrusive cause they might have things they want to do, and get what I'm there for and get going. I usually ask if they wanna smoke, but I've only once been taken up on the offer.

The only time I see my dealers is when I want to buy weed. I don't go over there to hang out, ever. Just to buy weed.
But that doesn't mean I'm in then out either. When I go there, we talk just like I would with a friend. Talk about current news, or television, whatever, and in the middle he usually asks what I need. I tell them, he gives it to me, then we keep talking while I proceed to roll one up.
My other guy comes right to my place, so I let him in, and same with the other guy, we just small talk while we exchange goods and monies.
I find it rude to just go there, buy, then leave within 2 minutes. For one reason, that is a mjor heat score just going in and out, and two, it's quite rude. They are human beings too. :)

I will try to be friendly but it is hard because live at home and not driving meens he comes to me and I get in his car and he drops me off somewhere, or he drives me home from school and swing by his house for the pick up. I want to invite him over but it is hard to. Well hopefully I will see him when I go skiing this weekend.
