this is a hobbie IMO..... some people play tennis, some people collect shit, and I smoke weed.....

Well I look at it as a way of life. Some might look at it as addiction, some might look as it as a hobby, but to me it's a way of life. I can remember clearly how I was before I started. Yeah it's ok to laugh because I do realize I'm only 16 years old with a lot of time ahead of me to decide what's a "way of life" but until I am convinced that something else is better then I love Cannabis. It makes me feel better when I'm sick, happy when I'm sad, and it just puts me on a whole new level that I just can't seem to get on when I'm sober. I did have the flu but like an hour ago after drinkin so much orange juice I felt a lot better, now I'm very high lol. I was away for so long so I guess it helped my tolerance. Now I feel so much better :). But yeah that's what I think about weed and all that :stoned:.

I think it could be considered a hobby because you get to make cool pipes and all sorts of things... it leads you to be creative. and its fun.

If you had asked me before I started raising my own, I could not have honestly called it a hobby; more of a vice, really. You can pretty much call anything a hobby under the strict definition, but in terms of what constitutes a hobby to most people's minds, I'd saying growing is a profoundly rich hobby. I would make this comparison: Going to a bar and imbibing alcohol is hard to call a hobby, but brewing your own in your basement could easily be called a hobby. Just like buying pot and smoking it wouldn't be hobby compared to growing one's own.
