Don't give it to someone acting like its weed when it is really catnip, that is a fucked up thing to do. But if you want to try to convince one of your buddies to do it then I guess go ahead if its safe.

It's foulish to smoke a pre-rolled joints to begin with, Because you have no idea what you're ingesting into your system.

Could be sprinkled/mix with anything...

It's a safey issue. I know I wouldn't want an unwanted substance in my joint.

Well I know for a fact that some catnip can be harmful to your cat because of chemicals used to grow and enhance there effect,,,for this reason I only get certified Organic catnip... Be careful I talked to someone that has a cat with seizures because of bad catnip...

I'm about to do this shit to my friend Matt..... i'll let you guys know how it goes lol. Since me and my friends are low on cash we're gonna go sell idiots catnip/weed joints. HAHA this is gonna be great.

That's what I thought until I went to Wiki

Wiki isn't a very credible resource according to most English teachers. Their information can be edited and you never know what you're getting, especially if you believe every thing you read. Which brings me to my next point. The placebo effect. Catnip could possibly get someone high if the smoker (case study) believes that what they are smoking is a substance that could in fact get them "stoned," or achieve the desirable effects from the placebo. This is all according to theory...Science jumbo.

If you do go through with it, then I think you should tell the person you are "experimenting" on and have it be a learning experience for the bunch of you. Granted he doesn't rip your heart out when he discovers down the line that you gave him catnip as weed. The humiliation could be too much to bear if he were in a depressive state. I think too much.

OK I just did some research and it's seams that some cats can get sezures from just plain old catnip... I could not find a link to cemically treated catnip...

I know organic is pretty big right now because of the cemicals because the pet store dude said peeps were asking questions and wanted organic...

ive done this twice actually. first time, this kid who was always an asshole, talked shit he couldnt back up, etc... so, he asked me for weed one day. i gave him a 20 bag of basil for $10. he smoked it out of my bowl, and said he was sssssooooooo high. the next day, i told him in front of about 10 people. needless to say, everyone at school called him basil for 2 months.
the second time, we were just messin with one of our friends. we smoked a catnip joint, told him, then we smoked him out for real.
