Are there any threads where there's a list of some growing terms like nodes, topping, etc. I have no idea what these mean and it just confuses me when I try to read some log's and collect information.

Also, I want to just grow 1 plant of lowryder for personal use but I do not like having to deal with all these nutrients, checking ph levels, fans and shit. There has to be a simple way to grow decent bud (light, water, and air) without all of this stuff just need some advice.

My plan is to hollow out a filing cabinet to grow it in so I can lock it, or inside a 13in by 10in 3ft tall speaker box. And I'm going to buy a outlet timer to have a lamp running 18hrs/day and then 12hrs/day later on. Watering would be either me spray it with water every day or whatever is required, OR I thought about taking a plastic bottle and poke a hole in the cap and put it upside down above the plant to slowly drip water. Air ventilation I am unsure but I'm sure I'll be stoned one of these nights and come up with something clever.

Before we begin... let's make sure that it's okay to grow at your place... roommates, parents,... ??? Does the homeowner or leaseholder approve?

Yeah. It's called Google. Go up to the 'file' menu... pull it down... open 'new window'... type 'google.com' into new menu bar... use this to look up terms as you read through the boards...

.
.... I do not like having to deal with all these nutrients, checking ph levels, fans and shit.
Then you're SOL... indoor growing is about tweaking your plant's environment to provide for its needs.

.... Watering would be either me spray it with water every day or whatever is required, - huh? you have to water the DIRT, not the leaves!- OR I thought about taking a plastic bottle and poke a hole in the cap and put it upside down above the plant to slowly drip water. I thought this was the KISS thread? What happened to just pouring water in the pot every other day?

Air ventilation I am unsure but I'm sure I'll be stoned one of these nights and come up with something clever. You NEED ventilation... in a cabinet grow, that means cutting holes for air ducts and adding a fan.
