Im a big make-up fan girls, whats your daily routine?

For me it's:

Powder
Bronzer
pink gloss
clear gloss
black eyeliner (top AND bottom of eye)
black shadow
*sometimes I wear the fake eylashes
2 coats of mascara
a light pink blush

Pretty much I like dark, smokey eyes and light pink lips. I must admit I love copying the make-up of the playboy girls.

I dont do make up everyday. It's a time issue. When I do wear it I use foundation, powder, blush, black eyeliner, some eye shadow, and black mascara. I like wearing make up because it makes me feel pretty

olay touch of sun after a shower
brush and possibly braid hair
charcoal eyeliner
red sox hat

i spend more time on my nails actually. filed long but squared-off... french manicure if i have the time... very light translucent natural looking polish if i'm lazy...it's super important to me that my hands look good... some of that money i DON'T spend on designer bags ends up going to bling.

all i do is mascara, and one eyeshadow. i like makeup routines that are really quick and still make ya look good. i have really long eyelashes, so all i really need is mascara to look presentable. lol.

i never wear foundation or coverup, and i stopped using powder for the most part- if your skin is healthy, you really shouldn't need all that stuff anyways. speaking of that, for face care I finally invested in Clinique. the soap, toner and lotion was like $85 but totally worth it.

Yeah I dont use foundation either, my skin is good all I need is powder for shine. Im pretty obsessive about clean skin at night. I usually dont sleep with make-up on unless John is around. I use the cleanser, exfoliater, toner, and moisturizer everyday.

1. Wash face (usually in shower, always with Purpose soap)
2. Roll hair to get it out of the way or hold it back with a headband
3. Pore-refining astringent to try and stay a step ahead of the oil
4. Proactiv solution repairing lotion to try and stay a step ahead of the breakouts
5. Olay oil-free sensitive skin beauty fluid with sunscreen to try and stay a step ahead of the UVA and UVB rays
6. Brush on Bare Minerals fairly light foundation powder
7. Brush on Bare Minerals glee face color on cheeks and possibly also bronzer
8. Eye pencil (grayish purple) around outer edges of both eyes
9. Eye shadow (Bare Minerals plum)
10. Brush on Bare Minerals mineral veil
11. Do mascara (L'Oreal Lash Out), usually only on top lashes because I'm lazy and running late
12. Apply lipstick (Cover Girl It's Your Mauve), blot, and then thin it down-gloss it up with Blixtex ointment
13. Brush out hair or take off headband
14. Spray on perfume
15. Make kissy lips at my husband, if he happens to see the finished result

The finished result is an largely un-made-up makeup look. Total start-to-finish routine time? 5 minutes, 45 seconds. Without step 15, the kissy lips, it only takes 5 minutes, 40 seconds. I confess I have, at times, completed steps 11 - 14 in the car, but only at long traffic lights, never while driving.

I can do my makeup in 2 minutes.

I put on some blush...bronzer...and mascara...

..and I'm done...

However if I am going out and feeling like I want to look fancy I might wear foundation and powder and eyeshadow...but normally I don't.

...and the only time I wear eyeliner is on like halloween and new years....otherwise I look stupid with eyeliner.

i love makeup. i wear it everyday except for when i am not going anywhere or planning on seeing anyone, sick, or didn't have enough time to get ready.

i wear
*foundation
*powder (i have to wear this b/c i have the most oily fucking skin ever:mad:)
*eyeliner
*eyeshadow
*blush
*mascara
*and lipgloss

i do different makeup looks depending on my mood. sometimes i go for the natural look, lately i've been going for the 1960s mod eyes, sometimes i like the audrey hepburn eyes.. i also look at the way different girls do their makeup for inspiration. i even browse myspace for new makeup looks, how sad is that lol?

Luckly I don't need to wear makeup. When I do feel the need it is simple eyeliner. For special occasions add mascara and on blue moons lipstick. I was blessed with great skin.

One recommend though.. Anti-wrinkle cream is to be used before wrinkles start. Meaning.. don't wait until you are mid-thirties to use it. Start using it in your early twenties. I am 31 and get mistaken for 22-24 all the time, and I am always being carded.

Also wear sunglasses.. when you squint your eyes in the sun it causes those crows feet in the corners of your eyes to develop at a much faster rate.

girls shouldnt need makeup to FEEL pretty, you guys should be confident in your looks.

As a guy i will say something however, too much makeup looks gross, like a powdery face etc... i have sisters, so im more knowledgeable than the average male about this sort of thing... or at least i like to think i am, haha.

i hate when guys say that. no offense to you b/c i know you meant it in a nice way. but guys don't have the same pressure when it comes to our looks as guys do. it's like if we are not perfect the whole world stops and everyone has something to say but if a guy has flaws, they call it "character".

i know what you are saying, but in my experience, women are MUCH more judgmental then men are, and a lot meaner towards each other. Thats why women worry about their looks so avidly and men generally are laid back in that area. Im not trying to offend anyone, i'm just making points, feel free to correct me if you think i am wrong (which im sure you would anyways, haha)

All i am saying is that id take natural beauty over false beauty any day.

Its not FALSE beauty. Makeup doesn't make you look fake. Its supposed to accent your features. Like if you have blue eyes make thm look even better with black eyeliner and eyeshadow, the contrast makes them pop.

lol no i don't think you're wrong. i know a lot of females who will rip up another girl like she's fat, she has cankles, etc. and a guy will think that same girl is cute. but a lot of pressure does come from the guys too. y'all have it so easy! a guy can be 30 lbs. overweight and not much to look at, but if he wears nice clothes and is confident he can still pull girls. how many girls do you know that can do that?

stinkyattic
05-31-2007, 02:52 PM
Napolitana, I think it makes a huge difference. Like, you look just a little more awake and perky, I hate doing it because it just feels so WEIRD sticking that medieval torture device thing that close to your eye, but the difference is pretty crazy.
I used to curl my lashes to keep them from rubbing on my glasses and leaving smudges... now... (haha this is terrible) I actually TRIM my lashes just a tiny bit so they don't touch.

Thank You ladies for looking good and thank you for loving the art of making your self even more enhanced in your beauty. All you girls are hotter than blue fire and its not the make up, but us guys still like to see a girl look like our dreams and taste buds just slammed into each otherand all we can mutter is mmmmmmmmm. Oh I know I dont have to say anything cause well girls usualy know it all and tell us only what you want us to know but makeup colors like blue, white, and hot orange can be super hot.:pimp::pimp::pimp:

Pretty much I like dark, smokey eyes and light pink lips. I must admit I love copying the make-up of the playboy girls.

Must confess I have no idea what the playboy girls look like....but I wear eye make-up and sometimes gloss and bronzer. That's all.

1 black eyeliner (top and bottom)
2 black mascara
3 eyeshadow
4(sometimes) bronzer
5 lip gloss or Blistex usually clear

I accentuate my eyes because I believe they are my best feature.I don't like my mouth so I try to not bring any attention to it! ;) lol

I used to wear full make-up but it clogs the pores and I don't like that....

oops i didnt know this thread existed.
mine is a bit different for the asian eyes.
so.
i wash my face with those microscrubs, mouturize, go do something else while it settles
put on my bare minerals: foundation/warmth(slight bronzer)/mineral veil
some white eye shadow on the brow bones, and cheek bones.
black mascara on top lashes, some black eye shadow/liner
some blush and some lip product, usually some reddish gloss.
and thats my casual wear but i feel that thats already alot of makeup!
