I rarely start a new thread unless I really want one.

What is with all these threads about kids with pot in school? Are kids now just dense? Why would you ever bring MJ to school? Take a puff before school starts. Can you not wait until 3:15 for your next smoke? I see threads that say "my teacher is out to get me. Thats why they tried to bust me with my herb."

Keep that shit out of sight, in your car. Anywhere but in class. That is so idiotic. Whats everyone elses opinion on this? I smoke alot. I am in college. My parents are retired teachers as well as proof of the value of education. Slaves to the system at 30k/yr. If you brought MJ into my mothers classroom *I* would personally put you over my knee and bust that ass.

or get paranoid

i used to take it to school sometimes
but just have a joint at break and a joint or pipe at dinner
and i didnt show anyone apart from the people i was smokin with

Well when I was younger, I did bring weed with me to school. We had thick bush going around the entire school so we could go out and toke. Hell, kids at lunchtime would drink beer in the parking on a Friday afternoon, they didn't care.

But in this day and age, you would have to foolish to attempt doing that. Now there's drug testing, teachers are now posing as police even though they are teachers, they call up your parents to tell on you...it's like a babysitting service these days, and people wonder why kids tell teachers to fuck off. Stop controlling them and TEACH, not police and call on parents when it has nothing to do with grades.

So if I was in HS still, I would leave the weed at home.

As for college though, I know around here they didn't even care if you smoked on their property. I remeber going to college to get my HS diploma, and after classes we would go sit out on the bar patio, drinking brews in the sun and puffing on the deck. You couldn't make it too obvious, but if you kept your smoking to yourself, they didn't mind. Sometimes they would come out though and tell us to go around the corner. That was no big deal, but it was still on their property.

But yeah, leave the weed and bowls at home or in your backpack and tell NO ONE you have it. What happens is when you tell one person, 12 more people will know before lunchtime, so if you bring weed for an afterschool toke, which I recommend, keep it to yourself and smoke after school. :rasta:

the thing that baffles me , is what do these kids do with weed in school? i mean whats the point....why take a bunch of condoms to go visit the nuns ?

The secretary, my principal, and at least one of my teachers knows I smoke weed. No one gives a shit. I guess I'm lucky. It's not like I could ever get caught. I carry about an 1/8th around with me in my glasses case in a hidden pouch in my backpack. If a teacher ever tried to search me I'd be gone. Fuck that shit.

I have to keep my weed on me though. Safest place for it to be. I don't have a car, and I don't trust my hiding enough to keep it at home while I'm at school. So yeah. And one of the only opportunities I have to smoke is right after school.

Truthfully in my school it's safer to have it on you than in yer car, they bring dogs around the parking lot, and sumtimes at the lockers. I'd rather have it on me than in my car.

gawd..you guys are making such a fuss about this. I dont know if its just here, but its not that big of a deal. Plenty of kids bring weed at school and dont get caught, just dont leave it in your locker, and keep it in your pockets, nobody's gonna search you.

And Higher4hockey, we smoke jays at lunch and after school sometimes, and hour and a half is a lot of time

People shoulndt bring weed to school (ok it aint a huge big deal) but it just looks bad on pot, because if ur a dumb kid theyll blame the pot if u get caught smoking.

Obviously most of them aren't clever enough though... Why else would there be so many posts about getting busted at school. I usually avoid them all together.

If someone wants to bring it school, fine. But when they get caught, they don't need to come on here bitching about how unfair their punishment is.

That I agree with 100%. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. :D

I know to us it's as harmless as taking a shit, but it is illegal, and until it becomes legal, you have to be smart.

From 8am-4pm, you can't really wait until you get home to smoke? ;)

I brought weed to school back in the day. I used to carry around an ounce to slang to the kids in school on most days. Carried that shit right in my shoe. The only people who ever knew where it was were my closest friends (who were also probably selling drugs)

Anyways, I look back now, and hindsight is most definitely 20/20. School is not the place for weed, and the kids that bring "illegal" substances to school are simply begging to be caught.
