Im a night person. I love being up all night and up for a nice sunrise..maybe breakfast and then once the "morning" feeling has gone..BAM..off to bed it is and sleep enough to where you feel good enough to party again and wake n bake and off to the rest of the day..
It does however vary...i'll change it up here and there :stoned:

So back to the point..Night People..who are you? What do you do around the hours of 12am-10am?
Thats me..who're you?

Yes! I am a Night Person, and have been my entire life. I read, look at the computer, play musical instruments, and listen to music all night. We are a different breed, entirely. The radio humorist, raconteur, and author Jean Sheperd, best known for his movie "A Christmas Story" (although not even close to his best work by any Shep fans' estimate), wrote a piece for MAD Magazine in 1957. Here is a portion of it, with links to the entire article and illustrations. Shepherd was on the radio at night, and as a kid I was one of the many who listened in bed with a transistor radio.

Jean Shepherd:
The Night People vs Creeping Meatballism

from Mad Magazine, March-April 1957
Volume 1, Number 32

IN THE LANGUAGE OF "DAY PEOPLE", I suppose "Night People" may be called many things. Like "soreheads", "wise-guys", "egg-heads", "long-hairs", "outsiders", etc. Whatever they're called, the fact remains they're a genuine phenomenon. They're the people who refuse to be taken in by the "Day World" philosophy of "Creeping Meatballism."

The average person today thinks in certain prescribed patterns. People today have a genuine fear of stepping out and thinking on their own. "Creeping Meatballism" is this rejection of individuality. It's conformity. The American brags about being a great individualist, when actually he's the world's least individual person. The idea of thinking individually has become a big joke. Old Thomas J. Watson of I.B.M. came up with the idea for a sign which just said: "Think". And today, it's a gag! This is the result of "Creeping Meatballism". The guy who has been taken in by the "Meatball" philosophy is the guy who really believes that contemporary people are slim, and clean-limbed, and they're so much fun to be with. . . .because they drink Pepsi-Cola. As long as he believes this, he's in the clutches of "Creeping Meatballism". He's a "Day People". Let me give you some examples of "Creeping Meatballism" at work. . .

I used to be a night person, but not so much anymore. I like to out in my free time, and at night, nothing is open and no one is out, except for the tweekrs and bums. Night is too boring for me, but I do wake up early in the mornings at about 5 or 6am.

Not a night person anymore... adulthood and its accompanying responsibilities have beaten it out of me... BUT I would love to stay up all night painting, reading, etc sometime soon. Creative stuff. Maybe not ALL night though, I like to go to bed at like 2am, 3am.

I'm usually at work around that time frame, but on the weekends, im passed the heck out. you can't beat a good day's sleep. When the sun comes up, im rested enough to go out and have a good day.

You Know You're a Night Person If...

* Sunrise comes as an unpleasant surprise.
* You call someone on the phone to just chat and discover that they've been asleep for six hours.
* You do your best work at 2 a.m.
* You finally force yourself to go to bed at 1 a.m. and then keep having brilliant ideas that you have to get up and write down.
* People who are perky or sharp in the morning appall you---and can run rings around you before noon, too.
* Birds start singing about the time you fall asleep.
