OMG my main cola broke off

I was just trying to re-adjust my lsting when a fan fell over causing the main cola to snap right off the plant..... what do i do now its just hanging there and I'm in utter shock still...

I have some root powder I can try um fuck fuck fuck

Its just hanging there by a sliver of stem.... it was watered today to so it wasn't that it was too dry just fuck me

Well ya so I dunno... I put the top into a plastic bag with my moist breath.... thinking of putting it in the fridge... maybe that'll slow down its demise maybe I can re-veg it try to make it into a clone in the morning after I get a little advice... time to storm the bible and the internet bfjsfjs


I guess my real question is the rest of the plant any good now or whats going to become of it.

Its 1 week into flowering... not sure how Im gonna manage to put it back perfect but I'll try.

Would the plant try to grow a new main cola or just get confused as hell on me

u can still fix it dude use a bandaid to hold it together so it can breathe i did the same thing and after it healed there was a big knot and now its grows faster than before. bigger knot mean more nute can pass through. Ive heard of this happening alot fix it dude she will hopefully come back bigger and stronger. good luck

Im using a black light right now to see since its night time for the plant and cant see shit. I'm patched up one place that was broke a little farther up that I didn't notice before... so I want the white part of the bandage around the break correct? Its such a small area to work with I'm sweating with concentration. I'm trying to line the plant back together based upon the growing curve. I figure thats my best option

yeah jsut do ur best and make sure its sturdy and oesnt move, dont mess with the bandaid to try to see if its working or not, if its not u will know it would die in a matter of days, if it is then it will look fine. if you really need to removed the bandaid wait atleast a week or two if ur using hydro, 2-3 for soil, but be careful. i hope everything works out alright

its just hanging there drooping. I really don't think its going to make it at all it looks so sad right now. Its only 2am now need to try and do my homework... but seriously put some rooting hormone on it and sticking it in the soil is it that bad of a call... or without the cola is the plant doomed anyways

sorry i didnt respond last night i passed out, if the plant is dropping its normal, now if it starts to shrivle up like when u cut a leaf off for pruning and it dies and dries within the hour a little dropping is fine, also if it doesnt take it wont ruin ur plant but make sure as soon and u DEFINATELY kno its dead, take it out.

the plant will seem droppy for a lil while, and ur whole plant will stop grow, thats normal it is just focusing everything on repairing that branch, once it is fixed the plant will go back to growing at its normal rate

One week into flower? Clone it! If the break is as bad as you discribed clone it, 2 more main colas should grow in it's place and there probably isn't even the first sign of bud on her yet righ? so that means it wouldn't take much to reveg. I took clones 3 weeks into flower and they rooted very well and are fine.

She was put into flowering the 19th of Feb, buds already started forming, and I gave it nutes to which helped that out.... but Umm the top of the plant just has a brown end to it. I never know where to take clones from and when I post messages asking for help with it I haven't gotten replies. THe last time I tried to take one it didn't survive.

haha no it did not take at all it looked terrible in the morning droppy as all sin I ended it. Did a little experimentation with quick drying those non-thc covered buds.

I'm not worried about it however, right below break is a bud site and its starting to take over.. its almost like LSTing it the same way you are supposed to with letting it grow in a circle. I put 3 light right over it now and i"m thinking that this won't turn into a devastation there are a lot of flowers still, just gonna miss the extra weight if my plant makes it to harvest I'm not posting from my computer at home so I can re-size my pictures but I'll hit some up in my grow log later.

Now you know why experienced growers always keeps a roll of duct tape handy. It's a perfect and quick fix whenever a stem gets bent too far. The broken branch may not 'take' if it's been disconnected too long so maybe your best bet now would be to clone it and turn the branch into a new plant. It's only been 2 weeks since you started flowering so it shouldn't be much trouble to get it rooting. Smoking it now would be a waste of a future bud/plant.

ya well again it off no chance to clone it even i dont care its done I'll pick a smaller branch at the bottom for cloning again, and I actually got two seeds from a friends tonight which I can try to grow now too

aw, sorry to hear. Some times you get lucky with them. I just saved one thats about a inch and a half long. I already started flowering but it was barly the first week, so now its back on 24/0.
