Marijuana..Good or Bad?

How come parents and adults and everyone else, make marijuana seem so bad? Marijuana is not bad. They've even done it themselfs, but thats not the point, they say that it will ruin your life, and you won't be able to do anything and you will get addicted to it, and can die from it. Studies show that no one has ever died of Marijuana. I've been smoking for a about 6 months or so now...and well my family found out and they're flipping out about it..even though they were into all those hard drugs back in the day, I'm not going to get into speed or xtc, or crack.

At my grandmothers house..there is My grandmother of course, Her son(My uncle), and My uncles son (my cousin), my uncle is in his 40's and still to this day smokes pot, my cousin whos 17 drinks, and hangs out with his friend who also smokes pot..but he does not. Recently my whole family found out that I smoke pot...my other two cousins...smoke with me...they don't mind..but its my mother...my grandmother...and my older cousin who drinks...that are flipping out about it..what the fuck is this about? Should I just stop caring about what they think now or what?

bad if it interferes with your life, makes you a moron, loser, lazy ass. Good if you use it wisely with respect to it and others. If you need it every day to survive then it is bad.

I believe anything can be bad for certain people. You have people addicted to power, addicted to a hobby, addicted to their job, addicted to food etc. Addiction is a double edge sword. It can bring you good things, addiction can be your will, your desire. However if you take it too far, it can bear it's negative consequences.

What parents see is that they want their child to succeed. They want to see you doing some more creative and beneficial than smoking weed. The thing is weed can be beneficial to ones life. But it also can bring burden. I'm sure you seen the "typical" stoner who fucks up and drops out of school, or heard other stereotypes that were similar because they believe smoking weed or snorting cocaine is more of a priority than going to school. Those are the people who screw up.

This not only applies for weed, all drugs, wants, and habits. Which is why I don't why someone can condone one drug and condemn another. Drugs are harmless until consumed. The sole responsibility goes to the user that he is adequately informed about the properties and consumption of their addictions.

God put marijuana on this earth to make us happy. She was like..."hey man, these mortals need some entertainment". Mary is an herb that is meant to be enjoyed and consumed. It's natural. So, smoke weed and make God happy. The End.
