Do you guys think that smoking once a week will cause any noticeable effects on me. I know many of you guys smoke much more than this and you guys seem to be fine.... i think lol. I could probably cut down if I want but why should I if theres no harm done it's too much fun :)
So do you guys think the once a week rule is a good rule to live by?

no prob with once a week. maybe bad memory for a while. should clear up if u wish for it to and stop smoking all together. Keep up with once a week, u will prob turn nto once a day at one point htough. Just limit urself

sure it's a good rule to live by. i told myself i'd live by that rule when i started out as well. that lasts about 2 weeks :p. (now i'm up to about 3g/day)
but hey if you can hold out a week at a time, you won't regret it when you smoke: you'll get higher since your tolerance would be low, plus you'd have the high-experience spaced apart so you'd end up eh.... cherishing the high more i suppose. thinking of it as a treat.

What about the 3 times a day ??? Is there anything wrong with that ? I think not, I function perfectly.... it seems to me that people just assume people who smoke pot are retarded... when it seems that most people who use drugs are the really really smart ones...

no one said anything about chronic smoking to be a bad thing. just that spacing it apart a week at a time saves you money and gets you higher!
i wish i could last a week without my pot. wait.. no i don't :D

Kr1 is absolutlly right, there is no wrong or harm done by smoking marijuana. If you smoke do not let anyone make you think you are doing something wrong. You knew what you were doing and that the end of the situation. No more no less now can we just smoke a joint?

I smoke once a week. I'm alot more mellow than I used to be, and I don't really suffer from memory loss (though it happens every once in awhile). And the bad memories I have, well, I tend to forget about those. So yeah, it's not bad.

Shit I smoke like 3 days a week. Never at school, too small town, strict red-necky if you know what I mean. But yeah the only thing I've noticed is that I'm a little more layed back and alot more creative.

I don't know what noticable effects you're talking about...I functioned the same smoking every hour as I did smoking every month. Unless you do things high (note that highs only last a few hours), you're not gonna see much noticable effects in your life. You might feel tired or lazier, but that just might be me, bc I'm already lazy.
But yeah, smoking once a week is the way to go. It gets you higher, conserves weed, and saves you money. Smoking every two weeks, or once a month is of course even better, but imo it's hard to do. I know that smoking once a week or at least smoking every 3 days is a lot better, but once I have weed, I just can't resist and end up smoking every day.

Well....i smoke pot everyday and i have a "little" problem called short term memory loss...and bags under my eyes....once a week cant hurt though......just think its 1/7 as much as a problem....right???

My man speaks to truth, to some extent.
Many people find their personalities well suited to the intake or herbal smokeage. you cannot definatively know this prior to adopting herb as a part of your life.
Due to this, one cannot determine whether they will become a regular user or not prior to becoming one (or not beocoming one after a few smokes).
That said, I beleive one can use the herb daily while still acting as a functional, responsible member of society. The key lies not in quanity of smoke but in responsibilty of smoke.
Get up, on the way to work smoke 1 bowl. Smoke another bowl some point after work, and once more burn a bowl before bed. Adjust as necessary to accomidate your daily routine.
Notice I said 1 bowl. If you are smoking 1 bowl every 4 hours or less, you will typically use up less than a gram a day which is 1) cheap and 2) keeps your tolerance down so you still get high. This later part, keeping your tolerance down, is key. It means your body doesn't become fully adept at functioning with THC in your system, which means its still more adept at functioning wihtout THC in your system... This comes in handy for 1) when your out of weed and 2) if you need to straighten up for a drop or something. Also aids excessive herbal spaciness when not high...
Its hard though, you really gotta watch yourself, because 1 bowl at a time can easily turn into 2 bowls now, none later... Which never really means none later :D
The key is discipline... See, I'm living proof. 1 bowl and I'm fucking toasted (it is some chronz though). But yeh, I'm a hypocrate too cuz I *know* this aint my last bowl, though I always take a good hour break... so thats not toooooo bad, I think...
