Smoking at a show

I'm going to a relatively small venue this weekend to see 3 death metal bands, and I have a joint. How can I smoke it before the show. Keep in mind that the neighborhood its in is pretty damn ghetto, and not too far from a main road.

In the past i've just headed to the venue then combed nearby for a suitable side street or similar to duck into a for a few minutes.

Yeah, any empty lane type side street should give you cover. And I wouldn't imagine the death metal crowd would narc on you :thumbsup:

ya find a alley or something, or in the car before, or just hide it on you and smoke it inside lol, thats what i do at least but the type of bands i see everyone is smoking in there anyway, unless its a no smoking venue then i just smoke in the car but if you cant do that an alley would work

Just smoke it on the way there, or take a walk somewhere down an alley or something.

Shows here people just toke outside the doors, but most of the time, the doorman/woman usually tell us to go around the corner, so we do

Ok, thats what I was thinking. I'm just afraid that if I do it too soon it will ware off before even the first band plays their set. I'm gonna try to get a blunt the day before.

ya thats why I usually roll up like 3 joints and just smoke inside throughout the show, when you just smoke before your not even high half way through the first set

A blunt would be a good idea, and toke it with your buds on your way from the car to the doors, you shouldn't have a problem. I listen to metal as do alot of my friends and I know none of us would narc if we saw someone smoking a J out side a concert. Hell we'd probably go match them.

haha ya first show i ever went to, we were smokin a joint the bouncer grabs my friends hand and throws the joint on the ground, good thing it was almost done. Idk how it happened tho like 10 people around us were also smokin joints lol, i think this dude just was walking through the crowd and happened to go passed us or somethin

joints can either be the best thing for a show or the worst. if you roll crappy joints that let off tons of smoke when you arent hitting them, then you'll reek terribly and it will be really obvious

but if you roll nice joints then they're really really discreet because you never have to light them, you can just tuck it in your hand and smoke

usually for the concert scene i opt for my one hitter, since its the fastest, most innocuous, and easiest to hide quickly

If it's a packed venue, you could get away with puffing inside. Stay in the middle and don't make it obvious, and you might get away with it.

Better just do it outside. That way you don't risk being roughed up by bouncers, getting kicked out and not finishing your joint.

I figure there will be other metal/potheads there too. You might even run into a few and they'll match you. I love it when that happens. You haveone joint, then suddenly there's like 3 being passed around. :thumbsup:

ehh those stupid straight edge kids narc on us all the time, there is a small concert place pretty close to my house and they have concerts every couple weeks, we usually just smoke up right outside since theres not even bouncers, just some nice old ladies. But the straight edge kids are the worse they complain and tell you that your gonna die blah blah blah,
but gotta tall ya, Mosh Pits kick soooo much ass when your high :thumbsup:

I haven't run into many straight-x kids myself, but if I did, they would be overrun by stoned, drunk metalheads. :p

I guess among the younger crowd, a lot of the kids don't do it and are very outspoken, stoners or not.

All I know is that if a straight edge kid told started going off about how bad it is, I'd tell them to get fucked.

Theres this little concert venue that i go to sometimes and i just go like 100 feet away and stand there and smoke. One time i smoked a joint on a playground tower right outside it in plain view of two very busy roads , it was kind of dumb in hinsight i guess cause like 1000 people potentially saw me standing there. I felt pretty safe smoking like right beside it cause i don't think anyone cares too much here.

i got a festival every september called x-fest it has ten bands and lasts from 1 p.m. to about 11 p.m. and i hate it when u light up a joint and u never see it again but the good part is everyone is doing that so u are almost always smoking and it can be a lot of fun listening to great music, smokeing with people that are 2-3 times your age and getting high as hell ain't life great

I remember one band I went and saw called Raised Fist (Swedish hardcore at its finest) and me and 2 other guys went out to smoke a joint. Like 4 other people came up to us you know, "hey guys, mind if we match you?" hell no! Come and join us. This one guy pulled out a huge ass joint. The ones with the wire running down them. We started with one joint between 3 of us, and ended up passing around 4 or 5 in the end. It was awesome. I then went and moshed my ass off and found a $20 bill on the floor.

If you can get enough weed to do it, make these. It barely smells, you can do it before your parents get home and it'll work fine. Make at least 4, it'll keep you high throughout most of the show.

every show ive ever been to has had the smell of weed going through the crowd. i dont think anyone cares if you smoke during the show :rastasmoke:

Yeah man, why not just spark that joint in the show? Ever show I've been to I smoked, if one of the gaurds see they ask us to put it out but they dont give us to much trouble, except for one time when i got out of my seat to blaze in a little forest area with my buddy and as soon as I spark a nice blunt, a gaurd walks up and i had a quarter right in plaine view, he put out the blunt and then i watched him throw my 1/4 ounce in a trash bin, he then took us back to our seats, you better belive as soon as the fucker turned around i was in that trash bin:rastasmoke: ;)

Ok, the show was insane. Only about 50 people total. I got punched in the face twice by some dumbass hardcore dancing piece of shit, and I stayed buzzed for only about an hour. It was fun though.
