What's with this?

I know this isn't cannabis related but I just wanted to post it. So today I asked this girl out and told her "I want an honest answer, I'm not going to get mad if you say no." She tells me yes, so I'm all happy. At the end of the night(we are at work) she writes me a note that says:
Tony-

Sorry, but I want to just be friends.

She had someone else give it to me after she left, though I saw her write it. I don't understand, why would you tell me yes even when I said I wouldn't be mad if you said no, then write a note saying no. BTW we're 17, that's prolly why idk.

Looks like its time to move on, don't dwell on the past or you wont have a future. There are tons of girls out there man, last month one of my prof. told me that almost half of the women in the united states are not married, so keep your eyes open.

Most people don't have to preface asking someone out with a disclaimer you know. It also shows a lack of confidence on your part.

Same thing happened to me last night man....and to make matters worse for me it was a tall, nice assed, big titted, gorgeous smiled, round eyed 9.5/10 girl that did it to me. Why the hell do girls give you googly eyes all the time if YOU DON'T WANT ME TO APPROACH YOU. fuck
