Well I don't visit the grow forums that often but recently I have been thinking more and more about growing. I've been readin about 3-4 hours on these forums for the past 4 days so i'd say I have the knowledge of a somewhat experienced newb hah. Anyways I plan to either get a medical recommendation or have my parents get one. Yes they are cool with me growing so please no lectures on how a minor should not grow. Anyways I live in the Los Angeles area and plan to grow outdoors. I want to grow just 1 or 2 plants so I can gain some experience first. Anyways, is it "legal" for a medical patient to order seeds online? I am looking for seeds for a good mostly indica strain, and another mostly sativa strain. I have bi-polar disorder(may actually be schizoeffective) and GAD. If anyone has either one of those strain reccommendations are appreciated. I am also looking for outdoor strains as I plan to grow in my backyard. To sum up what I am saying, I need two good outdoor strains that are fairly easy to grow, an indica and sativa, and a reputable seed source. Thanks for what ever help I get in advance:jointsmile:

Strain type is a question of preference, some people like this some like that. Any good seed bank will give you a good description of the plants qaulities. after that its your personal favorite. Just choose one you like and think will work well in your growing area. Marijauna laws are federal meaning that even if your state says you can grow you legaly cant there fore customs is federal and will confiscate your seeds if found and send you a letter telling you so. If your in cali you should have no trouble finding seeds locally. Sorry about my spelling i'm pretty high right now.:D

Thanks, well as of right now I plan to just order from a seed bank. What I plan on ordering is Dutch Treat East Island Seeds (http://www.hempdepot.ca/seeds/east_island/DutchTreat.html) to handle depression and Purple Star Dutch Passion Seeds (http://www.hempdepot.ca/seeds/dutch_passion/PurpleStar.html) to handle mania and anxiety or Chronic Serious Seeds (http://www.hempdepot.ca/seeds/serious/Chronic.html) to handle both at the same time. They are indoor outdoor so I think they should grow pretty well outside. How reliable is HEMPDEPOT? I've heard good things about them but never actually used them(obviously).
