I saw plans for sale on ebay to build a phototron grow chamber with less that 60 bucks. the plans cost 5.95. Should I consider using this to grow lowryder or try a different cost efficient stealth means. Any input is greatly appreciated.:hippy: Thanks in advance!:bonghit:
Here's a lionk to it on ebay. I'm thinking of shelling out the six clams. eBay: BUILD YOUR OWN GROW CHAMBER PHOTOTRON FOR UNDER $60 (item 7722785575 end time Mar-27-07 14:22:26 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/BUILD-YOUR-OWN-GROW-CHAMBER-PHOTOTRON-FOR-UNDER-60_W0QQitemZ7722785575QQihZ018QQcategoryZ43555QQcm dZViewItem)
Thanks again friends.

Well, I guess nobody cares to answer my question so I bought the plans anyway. I'm going to try to grow lowryder with it. Hopefully it works. Anyway, I'll post pictures when I start constructing it. Any advice or words of encouragement is appreciated.

Here are the materials used in construction of the phototron:) .:
34 gallon trash can ($10 Walmart)
1 or 2 clamp lights ($5)
3-4 24' plant light tubes ($10 Walmart)
1-2 42 watt full spectrum lights from buylighting.com
Double sided tape
Mylar
Bolts and washers for mounting the 24" lights
Off to Wal-Mart. I hate that place. But what are you going to do if you live in the South. Man I miss my home (HB, CA). Hopefully they have most of this shit.
Does anyone think I should add a fan for circulation? there will already be coupleof holes in the trash can for circulation, but I'd appreciate some opinions.:D

Sounds basically like yer turning a garbage can into a grow cab. In which case, yes, you will probably need more ventilation than convection will provide.

I figured that. The plans say to cut holes (1inch X 4 inch) at the bottom. This doesn't help me with stealth. Is there any magical fabric or substance that allows for breathability that dampens the light. Just enought so if I leave my closet light on nobody would notice a trash can lit up like the electric light parade at disney land.
Anyway, I got a job inteview with the IRS and a couple of tests so I won't get started on building this fucker till this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. Hope you guys get audited by me. I'm just working there for the benefits.:giggity: :giggity: :giggity: :giggity: :giggity: :giggity: :giggity: :420thought:

The seller didn't want to include "Installing fans" part..
Do not cut big holes everywhere..
Have 2 x 120mm fans($10 each)
AC/DC power adapter .. about $10..
install 2 x dryer vent duct ($5 ~ $8 each)..
Is this for indoor or outdoor?
It might look ugly when you have a big garbage can in your living room.. (Priceless)
