simple qeustion,
why does everyone in these show talk in that stupid "whoa my bro lets trick it out to the max," with all that too fast too furious "whoa this is how we get down" talk? its like they are talking ABOUT themsleves in a thrid person purspective all the time i dont get it
while waving theyre arms up and down?
they all seem to do it while they talk they hold theyre hands out in front of them open palms and they just thrust theyre hands up and down like theyre wanking off a coconut tree or sumthing,
sorry but these tv shows like cribs and that are jsut fucking annoying

lol dude I don't even know what I was talking about when I posted that (something was not going on right in my head) haha. And yeah I knwo what you are saying, the way they talk is just damn annoying. I think I was making a shitty joke about speaking in the 3-rd person.

i might watch them once in a while, its just amazing how rappers, and the like can do nothing but speak on a record and buy whatever the fuck they want...
because all the rappers are the ones that rob the banks, steal money, sell drugs and the works, they just dont speak to much of what they really do. like all the bay area guys like mac dre and shit pretty much ran a whole mafia and just saved up there doe since they were kids sellin drugs at like 9 years old, lmao it sounds funny but its true, plus they do get some kinda profit from making all the records

They talk like that because that's how you're supposed to talk. At least thats what MTV wants you to think. Along with a number of other things...
I hate mtv :wtf:

95% are doing none of that....besides Mac Dre and some undergrounders maybe..that's a pretty silly statement, although I sense sarcasm. First, when you sign a major record deal, you get a big ass check for signing a contract...usually 7 figures. Then a cut from record sales, touring, any endorsements, public appearances (just like any musician). Then, most of the smart ones branch out and ink their own record label...then maybe clothing line, or whatever. I believe Em is worth close to a 100 million...not from selling drugs.
Or you could go Jay's route...publish your own record label as an independant...market it yourself...then get your label signed under a major label (Def Jam in this case)...but you're still getting most of the profit rather than if you just signed to the label yourself. He's upwards of 350 million or something like that (and he didn't get there by just 'speaking on a record'...he made a highly profitable business out of nothing..even he says he's not a rapper..just a businessman/entrepenour/hustler and now..CEO of the biggest record label in the world), and still going.
