And is there an underground community where you live, organizing raves in woods and shit?:p

Here in Belgium there are plenty of goa/psychedelic parties, you just have to find them. Lately there's an increasingly growing audience for that kind of music, and I was wondering if there were fellow cann.com members flying on Peace, Love and Unity...:hippy:

I live in Nijmegen, used to have some german thing called the S Experience here, but not any more sadly. I totally jizz the scene, not enough rainbow people and too many trendy trash around these days.

I've done Goa twice now and its just such a strange buzz sit in the sun under a coconut tree smoking chillums and listening to alien trance music, courtesy of the funky Isreali tribes.

here in toronto there are organzied indoor raves every weekend..although doing a bunch of drugs and sitting there listening to techno isnt really my scene, i've never heard of outdoor ones but im sure there around too. The indoor ones are all over the internet and flyers are up all over the city..its a wonder how they dont get raided

shoutcast is good for Goa, just do a search for goa. I reccomend some of the stuff from div by zero.de Usually one of the channels is pumping out some seriously cosmic vibes. Shame I can't work out how to configure my laptop to tune in i have this problem with shoutcast on a lot of PC's I don't understand can anyone help?

The rave scene is practically dead around here. Just alot of D'n'B nights that only a massive load of wankers go too. And plenty of chavs and emo kids to go round.

I know it was the same when I lived in Reading, all the zippies were into Drum and Bass. Saying that though some of the dnb nights I went to were pretty good. there is no comparision with this kind of energy though:

Had some goa techno at womad though, but the fucking council made us have it in some big warehouse, and it was a spanking hot summer weekend as well. Its not right.

Over here there's a D'n'B party practically every night, and there are very few wankers there :). Personally I like D'n'B even more than goa, and every party I go to I just completely let go and follow the vibes...:rasta: Weed is also pretty accepted at those parties, most of the time the place is filled with smoke.:jointsmile:
