I live in SF and my dealer is 18 and he gets the weed from Cannabis Club. I think the age limit is 18, so if you're 19 you should have no difficulties provided you have proof of ID and proper medical documentation and all that. It's well worth it, though, medical MJ is the BEST pot you can find around here.

all you need is a medical card,,no id,no documention,unless you must no someone,,all clubs require a calif medical card,,if no card,,you better have damn good proof of your dr.and his recomendation(dam good proof)one more thing,,if they ask for id(reg)only cuz of using credit card,,,or else,,just a medical card,,ive been a member for 2 years,,,,,,i have seen it all,,,,,,,,,,,i see them kick people away all the time ,,trying to come in with papers,,,,,,,,,,,,medical documentation,,,they should already have med card if they have proper documentation,,or on way to dr,to get recomentation,,then go to a place that gives out our id cards,,then go to pot club,,,,,,jack

You have to be 18 or have an adult consent ....its $150 bucks for the card and for whatever reason your turned down you get $100 back. Than after that go over to the Co-op place on Broadway and there is another card you can get to be able to goto other clubs and get your stuff. www.canorml.org half way down is a list of clubs etc..

They have everything you can think of there at the one in Oakland on Broadway 2135 I think....I got some nice Hash and Hash Oil Pills and the good stuff there is the Romulan Spice I opened it in the bedroom to show my cuz and my mom said when we came out she could smell a skunk ( we live by a river so we get alot going by and raccons )....lol...we were rolling and all she could do is roll her eyes.

first of all,,,no,no,no,,,,,only reputable dr.s ,,if you go to a dr and pay money and not get all back,,now i hear more again,,there are lists of reputable dr.s all over,,just dont go anywhere and give money ,,,,and be sure and take all (proper med records)cuz as soon as they see em,,they will no,,i no of people going to dr,s and got most of money back,,no why,,they never had proper med records,,what river,,i am a legal member and member of oakland club,,,there is lake which is crappy,,,i dont remember a river,,,if is a river,,must be dried up,,one more thing,,a reputable dr cost 250 dollars first visit,,second and all others is 200 dollars,,,non reputable dr.s give a 3 month time limit so you have to come back alot,,,me my first was a year,,,,i never heard of adult concent yet,,is this a new one,,,,,Jack

I have a card from this place and from Compassionate Caregivers and it was their doctor that gave me my script and card. Also the river was in Wa not a in Oakland...and yes a child can get a card through their parent as a recognized caregiver has the card and get its for them. I went down to see the doctor trying to think of the street but its on the bottom floor had to walk the stairs which was a bitch has I was hurting. I was told if I did not qualify I would be refunded $100 of the $150 paying $50 for the consultation.

I got my card after it closed so I was never able to make it up there but the one in SF has that vaporizer you can use and I sure like but at $500 I'll only use it there....lol and they never recorded my card number before I was thinking just to measure traffic in and out or for the people who come in two or three times a day.

they could care less about traffic,,they always look a second time if they dont feel right,,i get in by one look,,i get carded again,,,,once inside and infront of counter,checked again,,,only cuz they let people in to use the head,so sometimes non med users try to pull a fast one,,,and all clubs that i been at,,offered vapos,for free uses,and pipes,,we are allowed to stay 20 minuts,,they really never said much if stayed longer,,,they have all types of smoking materials to offer for use,,just leave id card and borrow vopo,or bong,pipe,there are more than one in frisco,,atleast 15 pot clubs,,,,,,,,,,,,Jack

This looks like the place I need to be! I'm 37 and was in a bad motorcycle wreck 5 years ago. I went to a Dr. in San Fran. in December and got the Physicians Statement letter (Health & Safety Code Section 11362.5). I was told by the Dr. that ID cards are voluntary and I do not "have" to get one. Currently, I have access to a real nice place on Sutter street in SF right off of Van Ness.
Here's my problem. I live in East Bay, Union City to be exact. And it's a big pain in the butt to drive an hour each way into the city. I have been told by people "in the know" that Alameda county is totally separate from the rest of the other counties when it comes to ID cards and that my Physician Statement letter may not be enough for Alameda county. Does anyone know if this is correct? Can I get a card in Alameda county with just my current Dr's note? Where would I go to get one?
And, do I even need a card? Are there any clubs in the East bay area, (around Fremont, Union City, Newark or Hayward) that would accept my Physician's Statement note alone? Aren't the cards voluntary anyways? Why do I need one? Is it because some clubs require only an ID card for admittance?
I have to admit, it's kind of hard to find out the correct info. If I lived in any other county but Alameda, I have the needed info, go figure.
Jack, maybe you have some ideas for me, I see that you seem to know your stuff! Thanks in advance.

Thanks MrLzyBones! Actually "Kind Care Resource Center" is less than 2 miles from my place. Stopped by yesterday and found out they just opened up Monday. Nice place, helpful guy there (hook), good prices. And best of all, it's right up the street.

Yeah that was another one I saw that was new...it would be nice if the would highlight the new ones or something. What I miss is the free dub from CCG in Oakland they stopped it last Nov 1st. For spending more than $40 you got a free gram of asst. quality sometimes good sometimes crap.

By the way. For anyone in the Union City Area, I just went back to the Kindcare Resource center at 1780 Whipple, and it is coming along nicely. Brightly lit, proffesionally and I am told the city is actually working with them.
So, FYI, prices and quality are good and the place is in the process of opening.

Actually, I just stopped by today, Wed, and they are closed. I called and the message said they were closed due to problems with the city. They will update info on the machine it says. Well, that pretty much sucks.

If anyone in the Union City area is interested, just read an article in "The Argus" about Kindcare and how they are closed due to a citywide moratorium until at least June. Here's the link.

No, they won't discriminate you if you go into the clubs. Just show them the card at the entrance (there usually is a big tough guy standing out front to check your cannabis card), and you're free to go in and buy your shit. go to the club on telegraph ave in oakland. they've got romulan clones for 10 dollars, give free massages on certain days, and alot of other good stuff too :)

some other clubs give you free cannabis goodies just for going there the first time. have fun!!!

as far as cards go.. the only people who check your age are the people who issue the card. the card will work fine almost everywhere in northern cali, however, in southern cali, you need to carry the actual doctor's note with you. the card is not enuff. for example, at the dispensery i work at, we cannot let you in without a doctor's note (even if you have a med can card or a card from another club). the reason for this is that in los angeles county, cops dont care about cards, they need to see a doctor's note (prescription).
