So, I posted a, well, post on here a while back about an anti-war/anti-trident demo at London today. Ive just got back from it, and it was fucking awesome!
They had so many different people from so many different walks of life. Socialists, commies and hippies were all there in huge numbers, it was estimated at 100,000!
The music was good too, a load of hippies banging away on drums. And there was a lot of weed being passed around :rastasmoke:

Ill get some pics up on monday when I get the film developed :)

there's going to be one at the pentagon.. coming up (ill try to get the date if you want it)

Tom- that's fucking rad man. Sounds like it was a good time. I wish Americans themselves would get up and protest more, 100,000 sounds electrifying. i so want to shut down the streets of my city with 100,000 right in the middle, blocking off all traffic

Just a few piccies of the march, picked them up today. Sorry about the quality, they were taken with a cheap throwaway camera. If you want to know anything about the pictures, just ask :)

Bugger, can only edit for 5 mins after so heres some info on the pics.

The first picture is a strange man that thinks a guy called 'Maitreya' is the reincarnation of Jesus. Something like that, I was stoned by that point (spliffs were being passed around by the dozen!)
Second is just a piccy showing the packed road on one side, then the blocked off one on the other side. Obviously to limit the amount of people that could view the protest.
Third is a pic of one of the blocked off roads. Have you ever seen a street in London so quiet? Kinda spooky... :wtf:
Fourth is a banner thats the same size as a Trident missile. Trust me, it was massive! I couldnt even fit it in the shot!
Fifth is just a snap showing how fucking crowded it was there. Still, nothing compared to the very first protests against the Iraq war, where there were around 2 million in London protesting!
