do clones lose or weaken from c1 to c2 c3 c4 ect i am on the 6th generation does this effect rooting or anything>how many times can i use the same strain of clippings from a clipping? i need a real answer i have heard so many diff answers i am frickin dizzy!!

as many as you want. a mom can live fifteen years or more, then a clone from that can live 15 more...

perpetual is quite the same; you can clone and clone and clone and .......

thanks guys is what i am doing is just clones i have no permenent mother i only clone than bloom the mom are clones of clones only able to keep prodicing ? thanks so much

Kindprincess, I have done that a couple of times. Usually when I have used up one mom and start running out of branches to take. So I take some side branches from the round that has been vegging and is about to go into 12/12. Gives me time to let a new mom veg and bush up.
