as The article states these have been around for awhile...And if I remember right a Very strong magnet will disable them.

Good vs Evil... I was running out of gas one day and headed up a off ramp on a interstate I travel all the time... At the top of the off ramp a see 2 cameras on a pole pointing at the interstate,,,it just freaked me out,,,that is so fucked...
