Yay! We all love pretty things, but most of the time, those things are expensive.

But I got excited yesterday, I bought a Juicy Couture wallet, and a pair of BCBG Sunglasses:cool:

I felt mad sexy with those on

I adore juicy, I love those little sweatsuits but holy shit some of those things are like 200 bucks! A girl I know, mad rich btw, has the most gorgeous juicy purse...it's a big ass bag with a huge lock and key on it..fucking adorable! I'm so jealous...I haven't gone shopping in months..I'm gonna make my boyfriend take me shopping this weekend haha!

Okay, I gotta ask the two of you: Why do you want a purse that is "not that expensive" for the brand but still costs $350?

I am not saying there is anything wrong with it, and a lot of my friends are into expensive purses and sunglasses and clothes, and I just really don't get it.

Is it because the quality really is that much better? Or is it just for the label? Or do you just really really really want it because you think it is cute (which, again, is not a bad reason)?

Okay, the problem I have with that is that a car (or motorcycle, whichever) is a status symbol, and is usually a very obvious indication of social class, and this is something that people do desire. Also, the cars are higher quality.

However, purses and sunglasses and things of that sort are just small possessions, and do not always signify anything. And you can find a pure that will last for ages and is perfectly cute, but doesn't have some letters on it, so it is not for the quality.

I just...don't understand why having a purse with certain letters on it is better than having one with other certain letters.

I was raised in a family that believes in living below our means, however, and the only situation in which my parents actually spent whatever they wanted was their cars, so maybe I am biased towards that.

I buy my clothes at Salvation Army a lot of the time ( I work at a lab, everything gets acid holes in it) and have the extra cash to save for expensive toys... hint hint girlies... Fuck buying a $300 purse. After 10 purses you should have bought a Ninja!
And btw ladies, a bike + a thong + those low assed expensive jeans= hotness in a can... drive around leaving a trail of traffic accidents in your wake as the men pass out from your X-treme mojo...

Oh yeah? I bet I can walk out the door right now and just take a picture of all the people walking around, and like EVERY girl has a pair of them on. I'm on a college campus... THIS place is the worst, hands down, but I guess since it's snowy... not that they have to actually encounter any actual snow between the sorority house and the 'intro to communications' class they are all on their way to with their matching fake tans and dyed-black hair and identical black eyeliner.... I'm getting really worried about young women these days... even just a few years ago there was SOME variation in their interpretation of fashion... seems there's nothing left to interpret, it's just a certain bag + a certain pair of boots + a certain hairstyle = finding your trophy husband and looking forward to life as a bored suburban housewife until you hit 30 and he leaves you for his secretary.

Well, but when there is snow on the ground, and people wear them with other winter type clothes, it is not SO bad.

But people in AZ have to wear them with miniskirts and tank tops because it is too hot, and that is just stupid.

LOL. Yeah, I was surprised to see one girl with her pants covering them, but then again that was yesterday when it was snowing all day long and was only like 15 degrees outside the whole day.

Im a big labels fan myself actually. I have gucci big ass black rimmed sunglasses and a louis vuitton purse that I got a year ago from John. I think im a shop-o-holic actually which is sad. I love American Eagle, Hollister, Hottopic, The Gap, Forever 21, Victoria Secret actually pretty much anywhere. I also love playboy anything. Oh and my make-up is important too. Though I spend the most of my money on shoes, my hair, my nails and feet, tanning and the various waxings I have to get......I suppose I can be a bit hjgh maintnance.
