Enough Room?

Ok so i have this contraption thing that my dad bought when i was like 13. we used it to house the many reptiles i kept when i was younger. now the reptiles didnt run around free, they were in glass cages. Considering i dont have them anymore, i was thinking it would make the perfect mini growroom for a plant or two. The actual dimensions are 3'x3'x5.5'. it already has a vent fan built into the top and an electrical socket as you can see. i figured if i were to line it in white reflective plastic, it would do well after a VERY VERY thorough cleaning. Does this sound like a good idea?

now what i am wondering is with those dimensions, how many plants should i shoot to fit in there? would 2 plants crowd to much in that space after the secondary veg? (depending on species)

also would a 400hps be too much for that space heat wise? or should i stick to 250hps?

lol sounds like a plan, you could get 2 good sized plants in there easy...

thanks, yeah it definitely needs some light proofing work and cleaning. also i just found out a close friend of mine is getting rid of a armiour (sp?) (basically a closet haha.) that is slightly smaller than this, its already painted white so i figured i could use it to veg and this thing to flower. im excited, lol first grow comin up. now i need the money for lights...haha

I'm envious! I've been looking for something just like that, cause I'm lazy and don't want to build one in my new house. I'll be watching this thread to see how yours turns out.:)

yeh man, i was gonna say you shld get a veg cab, and keep a cycle, thats my only downfall, i have one cab, and the plants grow at different rates, so i end up with a few little ones when im goin into 12/12 with big ones, its stupid..

thanks for the feedback, i will be sure to just keep this thread updated all the way through the grow, so you all can see start to finish with this little room. :D
