cabnit is small, extreamly small (plants must stay under 1.5 feet or risk light burn)
2 computer fans for intake
box fan for exhaust
using 42 watt cfls (in the process of changing all the lights to 42 watters, should be done soon)
vegged for about a month (3 or 4 weeks)

Started with 5 plants and got 4 males ..EWW

hoppin to pull off 2-3 oz LAWL dont no bout that tho

Pretty kickass dude, personally I would paint the walls flat white and get rid of that tin foil, any idea what strain it is? I want to set up something like this as a little side project in a cab somewhat similar to your size, hows the odor? I know for my 3ft plants its really crazy come mid-end flowering. Looks like your gunna pull some bomb buds in a month. Cheers :rastasmoke:

you should definitely lst. looks like it's bending over right now, if you force it more the auxins will go to every branch instead of the top node, it will get BUSHY and you will get a better yield.

....i tryd Lst, im not good at it actully thats why i think all my other plants turnd male:to much stress, lst is outa the picture while flowering its not worth it causes more stress and reduces buds + there is a good 7 or 8 inch gap before it hits the lights....there hasnt been much stretching yet. because i think the plant is a little rootbond
(good i need her to stay small lol). i topped this plant, thats why theres alot of foilege at the top. im looking forward to those buds busting outa the top away from those shade leaves soon.

...If i leave my bedroom door shut at night it gets pretty smelly, but tother than that i dont notice it...probly cause i hot box my apartment all day ever day and always have incenses going too

everything i have used fromw this grow have come from wal*mart. this are standerd ceiling light sockets with a "Y" addapter so u are able to screw 2 lights into one socket.

well last time i grew in this cabnit...same setup except with 4 plants and i got 2 oz's per plant, but it was a little crowed in there so im hoping if i can get more light on the lower branches and have good airflow i might be able to pull a extra zip.

just a little update....
snowing here (actully hailling here, we have gotten abouta inch of hail), i just picked up a few more 42 watt cfls and while i was there saw a 75 watt cfl for only like 12 bucks, so i might check that out i can always return it if it doesnt work out.

so today i brushed up against my plants on accident...and it didnt smell like pot, it smelt like cat piss.....is this normal?

Hopfully get sum pics up tonight, plants looking rly good! trics starting to build up. had a lil over nute but nothing to bad ill just watch it and feed with reg water the next few times. Buds are def. fattning up they loved the flower nutes.

they might hit the roof, keep bloom fert down to a minimum and just be patient, if the begin to strecth, just tie em horizantal for a few days and then leave and do again other way, this will also open up the plant(s) to more light lower down

Hey terp, do you know the strain?...It is looking good so far, I just harvested my first experiment, a WW under 400W+ floros at 12/12 from seed, got a solid 3oz (wet)... The plant was only 15 inches tall when done...I'll post a pic tonight.

The cat piss smell is normal with some strains....

i have been pumping the nutes and they seem to be LOVING it no hight growth at all (only 2 inches in hight from when i turnd on to 12/12) no leaves yellowing ether the buds are getting fatter and fatter. plant is still under a foot ...about 10 inches tall. i figure i got about another 5 weeks or so...

i have pics just need to get on my laptop and load them, so a huge update is comming soon.

im off to study my Organic chem. <---shits kicking my ass. i hate college.

I got a few questions for you:

1. What kind of tray are you using for your plant, it looks like a flatbed. I always thought you should use a round tall pot. I have the same problem as you. My grow box it about two feet high, and I need the plants to stay very short, and if I could use a short flatbed pot that would make it easier for me. If it was 6" tall, my plant would have about 1 foot for growth. Do you think that would be enough?

2. You said you vegged for a month? Would that short amount of time help stunt it's growth? My box is 18"x18"x18" with a raised roof that I plan to house cfl's in. Do you think that is enough room for one plant? I could lst, but I prefer not to.

3. What soil are you using, and will you need to feed them ever?

I have more but I have to go.

here's my setup
2x42w cfl
6x23w cfl
1x13w cfl
2x40w floro tube
1x40w incandescent

i know my problems have been heat (u tell the girlfriend to open up the closet door before she comes to bed, but she doesn't of course, u wake up 5 hours after the lights have kicked in, open the door, and it's 135 degrees in there.... plants are dying fast pfft some help she is)
also when someone's mom (gf) comes to visit like 12 times during the flowering stage (not once during veg) so you have to cut out the lights in the middle of the day (i'm sure the plants LOOOOVE that shit)
another problem was the plant nearly died when it was in veg (i could post pics but lazy for now) so it took nearly a couple months to start vegging (pretty much stopped growing after a few weeks, then growth was slow)
another problem i'm using bagseed
nutes could be better

sorry for the incoherency of this post (if that is even a word) but that's just the way i'm feeling right now

I new i was taking a risk, a huge risk, when growing in such a small container, forcing flowering, Topping, and over nuteing//under watering.

So Latly i have been looking over my plants vry closly everyother day, because they have been acting funny...not rly growing anymore, like they were focussing there energy on something ealse.

Spoted a seed this evening:cursing:
...i new it was bad news i new somthing was up, so i cut off a bottum branch just to check. sure enough, pre mature seeds everywhere :(

...still guna cure it and save it for 4/20, just now i gota buy myself a oz of rly good dank before i smoke mine

P.S. road my bike around the street (i kind of live by the mississippi) and checked out the woods, found a SWEET spot to do a outdoor grow. Looking into some seeds.
