I was just wondering if the weather is getting better in some areas because I think it's starting to get better over here. As in the snow is sort of leaving and (thank God) it isn't that cold lol. How is it every where else?

Same exact scenario here O. 45 and sunny today on the eastern coastline. It's 6pm and it's still 45 out. It gives such a good feeling doesn't it (when the weather starts turning 'springy') Can't fucking wait for spring and summer.

It's gorgeous here today in Dallas. Temp just under 80. Sunny. Breezy. Made me very happy. Would have been even better if I hadn't been cooped up in a building nearly all day long. I can hear our neighbor out riding his big motorcycle all around. It's also nice that it's staying light a little longer. I always feel so much more cheery when spring starts, and this is when spring starts for us here in Texas.

it was about 40 today here near albany ny orange...i went and played basketball today and was driving around with my windows down...its funny how when its bitter cold then it gets just above freezing it feels mad warm when in actuality its not but we get so used to the bitter cold and winds...especially when its dark

Screw the cold weather, I live in sunny Southern California and ride motorcycles year round. Yesterday it was 70º and sunny. Today will be rain but it only rains once in a while, I can deal with that.
Not like when I grew up on Long Island and had to walk to school up hill in both directions in the driving rains, snows and hails.
My memories of New York are all wet and bad weather memories, I hated it there and am glad to be gone. The sun did shine once in a while but not enough to make me stay, not like here in So Cal.

The snow was just about to melt and then bam it hits, it got all snowy today. That was unexpected..

the weather here has become a bit changeable of late. this time of year is usually rather pleasant with a layer of ice only 150 feet thick and the occasional fire storm or methane explosion to spice things up. this year the ice seems to have been replaced with a layer of gaseous mercury with pockets of cherry flavored cough drops. it has been raining toads for the better part of the last three weeks and large areas of total vacuum have appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. our average temperature in these parts usually ranges between -20 to around 143 in the shade, but this year we seem to be bearing the brunt of a large storm system and the temp hasn't gone below 240 in weeks.

well, it's just started raining frozen body parts so i had best go and make sure that all the windows are closed. ta.

haha, California isn't all about good weather. Don't forget about the traffic, pollution, too many people, and having to dodge mattresses on the freeway. HAHA :thumbsup:

We had a bit of snow here, maybe 5-6 inches with some ice a week ago, and it's still hanging around. Went sledding last night with the dog, that was fun.

But it's getting mushy right now, it almost reached 60 yesterday.

Weird, in the beginning of winter and well into January, we had days of 60-70 degree weather. All of a sudden in February, temps dropped to normal winter time temperatures. And we got some snow. Weird.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR SUMMER.

It's been an awesome day weather wise today. The thermometer on the porch reads 80 degrees with a very slight breeze.
Went to the beach this morning and did some fishing. Didn't catch anything other than a slight sunburn, but it was great. :)

i think i am the 1st person of the south hemisphere to post in this thread... here we're in the end of summer... hot as hell... like 35C (95F) at day and like 25C (77F) at night... sunny days... with few cirrus clouds... and now (9pm) the stars shine up there in the sky... Orion the hunter is clearly visible...
and for me is somewhat weird imagine you people are in very cold places, full of snow... i only saw snow into the refrigerator :D
anyway i like clear weather, so, even with this hellish hot weather, i will not complain.

well... it must be very good have this "snow days" when you need not go to school cause of bad weather...
i wish we have "sun days", so we could not go to school or to work cause the sun were too hot... and spend the day in the beach or some another place like it... its 1pm, 100F, and i am very happy i have not to work or study... and i pity whole-heartedly all the ones which must do it...
i wish we could make some exchange of weather... i would send some hot weather for you all, and you would send me some cold weather back... deal? ;)
