It is interesting when the against cannabis religious people approach me I say

See "[Genesis 1:29]" in the first chapter of the first book on the very first page of the Bible

"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."

and for the most part they walk away from me very quickly, they give me no chance to provide them with written proof. Actually a lot of the people that come up to me with negative views on cannabis I educate them with the truth and back up my statement with print materials. Most appear shocked when they see the real truth. Some do walk away only wanting to get as far as possible as quickly as possible away from the real provided proved truth being offered them.

I refuse to let these very closed minded people bring me down.
I just remember a seed has been planted in all the people I talk to, closed minded or not, a seed that will be with them for the rest of their lives. For most that seed will germinate and grow one day.

Stand up, Speak up and you will be part of the morally right thing to do!
Be a part of change for the betterment of the whole world, no matter how small of a part you think it is, do it!

See HOLY BIBLE: Genesis 1 (http://www.newadvent.org/bible/gen001.htm) for Genesis in the Bible.

I don't think that implys that we are all free to smoke marijuana as we please, or are free to grow poppies in order to sell it as heroin. It's basicly saying you can eat fruit, nuts, and grow any kind of plant for the purpose of food.

i use that same scripture when people try to use religion against me, im a christian and strongly believe in me faith and the only thing i can find against in the Bible is obey the law of the land, well cannabis is part of the land, If suddenly religion was illegal do you think it would be a sin to be religious, of course not, its hipocracy of the land which the Bible talks about, im not sure where its at in the Bible but i remember reading it, i will find the actual scripture and post it on here later.

God knows what he's talking about dude, there's nothing saying every herb bearing seed... apart from the ones America will want to ban. So far as I see that's the bible backing up my argument in no uncertain terms. That which grows by the miracle of creation is there to be smoked. :rastasmoke:

If you really want to shock a religious person when speaking about cannabis, just research the Hebrew word "Kaneh Bosm". This was one of the ingredients in the holy anointing oil. Many biblical scholars believe that this ingredient was indeed cannabis itself. If this is true, then Jesus himself was a user.

Oh this is just too good I cannae wait tae tell me granny!

I suppose it makes sense, I would have thought Jesus of all people would have done at least one chillum on his travels round India.

Like I said before I don't believe God was meaning it's ok for us to smoke Cannabis but you have to think about it. Other than the hemp being used for fiber uses or w/e what other purpose does the plant have? I mean the only way for a human to benefit from it's uses is to consume it. Most of it's benefits with human consumption are medicinally and recreationally beneficial maybe I haven't taken the time to really research so maybe Cannabis does have more purposes, I don't know. But until I hear another reason for it existing then I'm convinced that using it for fun and pass time can be a reason for usage. Otherwise I wouldn't be happy or joyful when I use it, I'd be either sick or dead like I would be if I ate a poisonous berry or something.

You don't have to be sick to benefit from the medicinal qualities or something. It is interesting to note that the both the word health and the word holy are derived from the ancient greek word Helios which means whole (erm i think that is right). It has been a spiritual herb for many people for thousands of years. I think you are confusing God with George Bush.
