my friend that was going to give me my 2 clones got pulled over last night as he was bringing them to my house and he got busted they searched his home and got all 40 of his plants. they want $15,000 for bail no bond.

it is not my fault he doesn't blame me( he was going 50 in a 30 speed zone) but if he wasn't delivering me my clones he would still have 40 floweing little girls and 120 little teeny un rooted baby girls. thank god they were not rooted!!!!!!!!!!! but i still feel real bad.

my other delema is i have 4 mystry bag seeds what is a good method for a dirt grower to germ them. i have tried the paper towel methods and i never get them to work. need simple easy way to sprout these babies.

Wow...that sucks. Sorry to hear about your friend. :(

I dunno why you can't germinate your seeds in a paper towel...

Are you letting them dry out?

Try putting a few drops of superthrive into a cup of water, soak the papertowel in that cup, then place the seeds into the papertowel. Keep it moist! If you let it dry, you might as well throw it away. Keep it moist. It should pop in a few days. All you need is a little white sticking out before you can sink them.

Good luck. Good vibes coming towards your friend from The Fog.

Be cool, Spankey, and be friggin' safe.

me im always safe i am a very parinoid individule. i never speed. i never transport more then i am going to smoke. do not know what i do wrong but they never pop when i use any of the paper towel methods. i have used a pasive wick hydro germ method for a few friends but i am not going to hydro for my first ever grow.(always to scared to :D but have started many that way). i have read that it is bad to transplant from a hydro to dirt. if it is ok to transplant a little seedling to dirt from a perlite:vermeculite hydro wick to dirt please tell me how and when to do it.

You should be ok transplanting INTO dirt. Never the other way around. You can certainly root your seedling/clone in a rockwool (my preference) cube and then transplant it into your soil mixture after the roots are well enough established. This should be around the 3rd node or so, which is just around the time that you will want to be adding nutes, as well (if in hydro). If your soil has ferts in it, just watchout for a little shock, but they really should be ok.

As far as HOW to do it, I'd just say plant it up to the cotyledons (seedleaves) and then proceed as normal.

This is only what I would do if presented with that situation. :D

I tend to let the papertowels dry out...so I just stick them in a dark coffee mug with a bit of distilled water and set that somewhere dark and warm. I ck two times a day, making sure the water isn't dry. As soon as the seed cracks, I water the cup of dirt (not overly, just the middle) I am going to use and then gently push the cracked seed in so that just a BIT of granuales are covering it. Sometimes I can even still see the shell shining through the dirt..Don't let it dry out, and don't let it sit in water...usually emerges within two days...Hope that helps! My apologies what happened to your friend. Bree

Look says up top you have used a paper towel method with no luck. Well I'm here to tell you how I do it and it involves paper towels, if your not convinced have a look at my grow. Step 1. dampen a paper towel not to damn wet but wet
Step 2. Find a cd case and fold the towel like more or less in half and line inside of cd case
Step 3. Once the wet towels in the case just start puttin your seeds all over the sob
Step 4. Close the case with seeds and paper towel in it. Set cd case near your fridge or you know somewhere nice and warm.
Step 5. Wait and dampen towel if necessary. Once they pop I let em grow abit and plant them root down seed shell up maybe 1/4 to 1/2 down in soil.
Thats it , alll i do, never worried about sanitation or nada just always worked pretty damn good. Right now I did 16 seeds, still have 15 and they are all females, seems to work.

ello spanky.. well i allways use the paper towel method.. it works a treat for me each and every time.. but if you dont wnt to use that method then you can simply soak your seeds in warm water to germ them.. in jiggy bags.. or you can even plant your seeds straight in to the soil.. give it a drizzle of water every day or so.. n you should be all jiggy.. best of luck to your friend too.. man im not even his friend.. but i feel so bad for him.. man it scares me enough thinkin bout gettin caught.. losing all my babys all my set up.. best of luck to each and every grower out there,, be safe people keep smoking the:rastasmoke:
