I have been the owner of a copy of "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007" since it was released back in september, and have been hopelessly hooked ever since.

As I have progressed with the game, I have become increasingly aware that much of the language used is suspiciously innuendo in nature.

Here are a few examples:

"It should be straight in the hole if it's stroked properly"

"He got good length from that driver"

"It needs to be driven between the prominent mounds"

I just get the feeling that there are alot of old codgers that wander around golf courses sniggering at each other all day.

Still, I guess that golf is a game where two people play a round with each other, and the object being shooting into a plastic cup.

lol

Is there any other sports where innuendo can exist?

Dude. It's a sport. Anytime you get some guys togehter playing a game, it's gonna be laced with sexual jokes. A guy thinks of sex roughly 24 hrs a day. It only stands to reason that some of it is gonna show in other activities.

Golf would actually be a tamer sport for guys. You're only hearing it like you are because you've been playing a video game. Go play a real game a golf or any other sport, you'll hear plenty of dirty jokes by the end of the day.

innuendo exists wherever we want it to. for example -

years ago i became a plumber so that i could use terms like ball cock and nipple in polite society without getting slapped.

i suppose it's all a matter of perspective.:upsidedow

If you want innuendo, listen to a dog show commentator.

"Would you look at that bitch! Look at that bitch walk!"

If you can get sore from playing it, then it's a sport to me. Golf is a sport. Cheerleading is a sport. Washing a car could be a sport if there was a score system involved.

If you practice several times a week for a competition, then it's absolutely a sport. At least in my eyes.

Anything competitive that requires practice and discipline and excerise is a sport to me.
