just wondering... COULD i keep weed in glass jars / containers for like... 6 months w/out it losing its potency?

i'm guessing the only real bad thing that can happen is that the weed will get really dry.. but i can deal with that.

I think you could. Like you said, it will get dry, but you can fix that by adding a moist paper towel or some lettuce to the jar. Also, I'd recommend putting the weed in the freezer.

Thoughts?

yeh, jar it and put it in a freezer, when you go to use it again, put a fresh fan leaf in the jar, it should re-moisten the buds, if you dont have a fresh fan leaf, use a lemon, or an orange, something juicy, but dont leave it in for too long, as the air becomes humid, and mold grows in humid air..

good luck..

Cannabis will only go bad if mold forms. Mold will form if the buds are wet and placed in an anirtight container. Moisture + no air +darkness=mold, so avoid those things.

I suggest you fully dry the buds out and place in a glass jar. I would avoid placing in the freezer as that might destroy the THC, and the buds might get ice from the cold on them if not stored in asn airtight container. When you take it out to dry again, imagine the look of soggy lettuce. :p

So dry the buds out fully and place in a glass jar that is airtight and the THC will be good.

Avoid freezer burn if you're going to try that!
