View Full Version : Weed and maths
I've "started to smoke" some time ago... sometimes i've been smoking everyday... since I'm studying to be an engineer... im concerned if it is going to screw my abillity to do certain tasks like math... since math is a big part of that career... Anybody here has anything to tell me about that?

I know a couple guys majoring in electrical engineering that toke and they're fine. The math they do is so complex, the average man can't comprehend it. As long as you keep focused and don't fuck around when you should be studying, you'll be fine.
and how much does this guy smoke? and how often?

you'll know yourself if its kiling your brain. I read books on science all the time stoned, I prefer to read stoned. It'll probably help you to think of novel ways in which to tackle engineering problems.

For me, personally, trying to do math is quite difficult when stoned. Of course, I'm basically a math dummy. I had the joint after doing the math. I prefer to write. I did much of my college work stoned (graduated with honors). I have noticed that if you are doing whatever you like to do, cannabis usually enhances the experience. Since you are likely already good at math, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Why not just grab a text book, smoke a joint and see what it does to your abilities? For writing papers, it is great for the creative aspects, but not so good on the spelling and mechanics. - Granny:hippy:
