Why don't I feel like shit from stems and seeds?

Whenever I smoke I put seeds in because I love the noise of when they burn, but I never get headaches. I only take stems out of blunts though because they make the burn more inconsistent.

My friend saved up like 10 grams of just straight stems for a rainy day. We smoked then and since they were in a mason jar it was like they were cured extra hard and we were blazed as fuck. But the down side was it being a short lasting high and it tasted like wood. :(

I break up stems and place them on top of bowls lol. But I hardly ever see ANY seeds. I don't ussually buy that much at a time so that might be why. I've only seen seeds in my weed 3 or 4 times.
