which is best for Multiple Sclerosis?
My Mom need a general body relaxant that will calm the nerves, reduce the pain, bring you down to earth, just a general non trippy high, without the high. dont get me wrong, i personally love getting as high as possible, but my mom hates the feeling. but nothing else is working for her.

any help please.:p

I'd say an indica cause it slows you down, but whatever helps you is probably what you should use.

like every one is saying Indica might be your best way to go. I have to mention I have tried all those strains and hands down; the purest and strongest indica I have ever tried and I belive its the strongest indica out there if you can find it, is-------Aurora Indica, Strongest Sativa(strongest not purest) is -----White Widow, My personal fav. is mostly Sativa dominent(I think) and is NYC Deisel. However I do enjoy a super Indica high, it is not as tranquilizing and is definitly more like up-pety and social(everyone in the room that smokes the Aurora Indica usualy looks like they just drank a couple shots each, they are talkative and dont realy look high at all, but belive me there freakin wasted).:pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

Has anyone got a source for either of these? I have advanced glaucoma in one eye, and would absolutely love to find a source.

I hope and trust you mean a source for these these references, Ninfan, a source of origin of this information (since this would be the absolutely wrong place in which to ask for a source of Indica products themselves). You might be able to find it with some prudent research through Google or from online information from dispensaries. Robert42 often posted it, but he hasn't been online for a long time, and when I've seen him put this information up, I've never seen a link or bibliography reference relating to it.

Bird, already checked the larger seedbanks, no mention of those strains, google searching for "lollipop, seeds, or marijuana" with any of those combinations has been fruitless. Can't find any info about their origins etc.

Indica is the way to go for medicainal use. Sativas cant really compare to the relief you get from a indica.

Depends on the condition.
Indica for anxiety, insomnia, muscle aches, general painkilling.
Sativa for neurological damage, inflammation, spine injury, and many others.
Gotta match the medicine to the disease, as with any medicine.

I absolutely agree. Having as many 'conditions' as I do, I can say that Sativas are great for neurological issues. Some do however, give me anxiety so I've got to be careful.

As far as your Glaucoma, dont suffer in pursuit of the perfect strain. Many lines may be very beneficial to others and effect you differently so experiment. I have heard of great success in reducing intraocular pressure with super silver haze, but have never smoked it myself.

...really, sativa's are great for my back pain - but the indica's are great back pain relief at night...better for sleep - imo

sativa in the morning...indica at night, works great for me !!!

In terms of back pain responding to Ind vs Sat, it depends largely on the CAUSE of the pain.
Was it an injury that caused nerve damage, or damage to the cartilage, that is now inflamed? That's going to respond better to Sativas in most cases.
Is it muscular, repetitive lifting, or stress related? Indica for sure.
