Check out my microtree! I wanna xplant it to a model railroad set or barbie townhouse or something lol, its like a toy. I thought it was going to die when it sprouted, as soon as the first couple of leaf sets appeared, the lower ones died off and this went on for awhile.. I went to trash it, and when it was unpotted from a 16 oz cup I noticed it had a huge root structure - so I xplanted it and fed it with veg food.

I don't know why it has never grown upwards though - it was ~1 inch away from a 26 watt cfl its whole life, no heat stress. Everything else planted with it is much taller and has already shown sex and been dealt with - this is just the freak little bonsai dwarf tree of the lot. I wonder if this would be a good candidate for a parent in making a HUGE plant smaller?

No man keep it as a bonsai tree for years, you could keep that anywhere.

Ya wouldn't that be fucked to start a new breed of weed because of some mutant seeds.

Low-Lowrider. Maybe it went into an incubation period. Was the Light above it an inch, it might of needed space. . .

It took 50 days to get to that??

OH, I see, you trashed it...well, I'm sure it will start growing better when you give it nutes and proper light.

Growing better? But this is the tightest node spacing I've ever had on any of my plants hehe. It had gotten the same treatment as the other plants in its group - for some reason it never went "up".. I spose the light could have been too close and stunted it, but that seems wierd. Anyhoo, It has been xplanted for about 2 weeks now, as soon as I get some space in the bloomroom Ill throw it in there and see if its a she

Not only did it flower, but its a she!
And she has exploded in the last 3 weeks, you'd hardly think this is the same plant... Check out the killer sativa-ish leaves she has, and nice almost symmetrical (sp?) bud structure.

This seed could be very old - unfortunately I don't remember where I got it. It was popped along with some Oaxacan Sativa and ~ 10 unknowns, from old seeds I had.. It does not appear to be growing like my Oaxacans are, this one has much more side branching, and colors are different - so I don't believe its a rogue from that batch.

Could be 20+ years old (which might explain the slow start), as I saved some seeds from in high school of some really bizarre stuff from the 1980's, some really good red/brown weed from mexico, thai sticks, humboldt buds. I never labeled or even stored them properly - In little bindels inside film containers with notes like "Killer Red from scott", "gregs thai sticks" - I don't even remember which Scott, much less the year lol. I have been trying without much luck to "carbon date them" by identifying the items found near them in the boxes - ticket stubs, coins - like an archaeological dig or something. I found a bunch of them when I moved recently, but have had very little success in germing most of them.

Nice looking miracle plant you have there. You'll have to update regularly so we can see how she finishes. Good luck and happy growing.

Cool, keep us updated. I myself have some seeds someone saved from awhile ago that I've had trouble germinating. Out of 11 seeds, I've only got 4 to sprout !

I'm watching! Bree

Tokudai I had a similar issue with a plant very recently on my first grow...it actually had such tight nodes that they grew all messed up intertwined with each other...it was a male so I killed it but at a foot tall it had like 20 nodes and the light was pretty far away...Personally about 3/4 to 1 inch is ideal cause otherwise the bud doesn't seem to develop as well...you are probably right though about crossing it with a particularly tall sparsly noded sativa...

I always wanted to get a grow like that, but as of yet, no dice.

Well, shes still going. Day 42 flower. Seems to hate everything I give it - water, N,P AND K, light, heat, cool - I think it wanted to die months ago. Kinda like my ex-gf, never happy with anything. Has virtually no smell (unlike her - ZING!) OK Sorry... Shes not gonna yield much, but is starting to get frosty. Lol gonna be easy to manicure - everything keeps dying and falling off. My guess is shes probably just approaching the 1/2way point - I'll update again in a few weeks

Day 54 - Now its a quest. I won't let it die, no matter how much she wants to go. Now I'm thinking humidity? In the bloomroom I keep it around ~ 30%RH - maybe this sativa needs it sweaty? The other 2 I have going are doing much better, although they are from a known strain (Oaxacan Sativa) and not a random bagseed... All the fans on the main cola and larger buds are brittle and break and crumble at the slightest touch. Self manicuring? Buds seem really healthy, although it'll be a small yield. All the newer, low growth and smaller buds are fine looking, colorwise and it doesn't explode when I touch it (second pic. Ah well, keep on truckin' - like Frodo, I will see this one through....
