so when candidates for the u.s. presidency go and campaign, they spend well over 30 million dollars on the tour... my question is, where does this money come from?

the campaign itself is a fund raising machine...people sit down to $250 plates of food to hear the canidates' speaches.

a lot of the $ comes from what ever crooked way they acquire their funds, any people that want to donate to them (in hopes for compensation once they are a president) and also a lot by lobby groups that want certain people to get in or can bribe them with money in hopes to get the policy they want.
