Does anyone else here practice any kind of meditation?

From time to time I use a kind of meditation I learned just from reading a thing online... I'll find the link and post it here later. I'm not entirely certain if I'm doing it right, but I get a really neat feeling when I do. Also, I find that meditating while blazed is phenomenal.

So... anyone else do this? I find my meditation to be very soothing, I can just sort of leave the world behind.

Yea meditation is tight. Ive been trying to meditate for 20 minutes a day. Recently ive been doing it at the end of my day and it has really enlightened me. Im gonna try to start doing it twice a day, first thing in the morning and then at night. It has really helped me with my depression and anxiety.

Here's the link to the kind of meditation I attempt. Can anyone else reference meditation instructions? I'm open to trying new methods.

Meditation is very helpful to me.

You can buy audio tapes or Cd's that use sound to get you down to the Alpha or Theta state.

After you get in those states you can condition yourself to get back quickly by choosing a keyword and repeating it.

If you want to get to those states again you can use your keyword to get in that state more quickly.

Oh man, I meditate sporadically through the day. But I always take a full 20 minutes out of my day and just meditate while laying down.

completely circumstantially. sometimes i meditate on an idea, or an event, other times, like when stressed, i will meditate to clear my mind.

i dont meditate nearly enough, stupid society, damn internet, but when i do, it's usually meditating ON something, such as a video game (god im lame).

i meditate before a smokin session when im alone, it gets me soooo much higher, and when i meditate right before going to sleep i enter sleep paralysis, its really some trippy shit. I love it tho, 10 mins in the morning makes your mind soo clear for the day.

Step 1: Smoke untill about to pass out.
Step 2: Manage to take 10 deep breaths, go slower each time
Step 3: Concentrate on allowing each part of your body to fall asleep individually
Step 4: Concentrate whatever is left of your essence into your foreheard, there is your exit

(eyes closed whole time) may take awhile

Well, the publishers are finally putting the finishing touches to the site, so it's not up yet, but you might want to check out 'How to Be Good at Being Stoned' in a week or so on Ruby on Rails: Welcome aboard (http://www.headstuffbooks.com). A good half of the book shows how to meditate in the right way to use with being high, and a range of techniques to help you explore consciousness.
