Best way to grow various strains?

About done with my first grow, 2000 watts of Sour Diesel (29 plants) My yield looks like it is going to be quite impressive, so I don't want to mess with the system too too much - "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." However, I am considering buying another lamp, perhaps a 600 watt. I have access to a fair amount of strains. Now I now that alot of the time the problem with growing various strains are they are all different heights (my Diesel is an extremely large plant)

I am considering adding a 600 and growing 4-5 different strains inder that like exclusively, and then keep my regular amount of Sour D under the 2000 watts. I know that different strains take different amount of nutes as well, and I am curious what you guys do to compensate for that? If I use a drip system, would I need to have several different resivoirs? Perhaps I would get lucky and have the other strains be similar to the Diesel with reguards to nutrient adding...

Also curious if anyone has a website that people list the types of bud they are have grown ( with pictures ) and also flowering times, nutrient strength requirements, height, etc This might make my life alot easier prior to planning this experimental grow of 4-5 different strains under one light. Any advice is well appreciated.

Hi, we have 6 strains growing at the mo, and apart from the NLXBB which doesn't like as much of the nutes as the other strains,only half the strangth, they (Skunk#1, Skunk Haze, Hash Plant, AK48 and PPP) are all fed the same strength veg nutes, admittedley they were all started from seed at same time so all the same age, but now some are in flower room and some are still vegging, so at the mo i'm just writing everything down, so i know what strength flower nutes to give the once in 12/12, then give the same to the vegging plants, once they go into 12/12. Same with the clones i have.
I just find writing everything down does help, cos you will lose track of what gets fed what and when, and the dates they went into 12/12, l was working out my next 3 month harvesting dates, lookes like i'll be busy harvesting every week, which is nice, but all that trimming, yak !

Forgot to add, i just browsed seedbank websites, for the info on height, flowering times, yield etc for each strain, makes life so much easier, we will be building up the best strain in respect to yield and strength we have, but just wanted a variety to grow, as it's out first attempt, well 2nd now as we just harvested some Lowryders hwich i loved growing, and got 7 oz off 2 plants so not bad really..

Interesting, yeah I would be stoked if I got that lucky to get mostly strains that like the same nutes. I keep tossing the idea back and fourth weather or not to try growing several strains in only my second grow. My first grow came out so well (Sour D) that I kind of feel like I should just stick with it. On the other hand, the idea of growing 3-4 strains makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

I am a medical patient and know some other medical patients, so I am going to talk to them about making a trade (ounce for ounce) If I can find three different people to do that with I may just stick with my strain, and make the trades. Awesome job with your grow though Beginner.

Hash Plant is one of the best herb I have smoked without question and Pure Power Plant looks to be a monster in just about every picture/grow room I have seen. Enjoy your various types of bud!
