so what everyone think so far
the closet measures 24" X 40" X 6'
i am going to grow 2 plants using the dirt dwc method zandor talked about in the grow report 8.
i am either going to use foxfarm 3 part or gh flora series 3 part. have not yet decided
i will be putting reflective material on the door and the floor
any sugestions or comments greatly apreciated.
am i missing anything?

no these are the bottom buckets 1 have 3 more 5 gal buckets
the 3 inner buckets have 1/4 holes drilled from 1/2 inch up from the bottom 2 the 10" mark from the bottom i have them spaced about 3/8" to 1/2" apart all around. in the bottom of the bucket i have drilled 1/8" holes spaced about 3/8" apart.(it has around 150 to 200 holes) in that i am putting a 6" air stone then putting in 1/3 of my potting mix(50% general potting soil with 50 perlite) the putting another 6" air stone then another 1/3 of the mix then 1/4 inch construction sand then potting my clone with the remaining 1/3 mix the top with 1/4" construction sand. the bottom buckets each have 2 6 inch air stones that sit in the nutrient solution after each watering. oh ya i have a 6" net pot under the inner bucket for space and to hole the 2 airstones down.
i got this idea from zandor off of the grow report #8. everyone if you dont dl his grow reports yet you are really missing some great shit. this is probably one of the best dirt designs i have ever seen.

It does look very good.
Lots of work there, plug it in and plant some seeds!
See you in the Grow Log Threads.

Looks good so far Spankey. Nice avatar, as well.
So you have plenty of room there. Nice closet. I would probably do more than 3, but...meh. It's good practice to start with just a few, especially if you are getting female clones. Bonus!
I enjoy listening to Zandor's podcasts as well. I'm working on number 15 or so.
So you are using THAT many compact flourescent lights? Why not just buy an HPS light? Heat? Can't vent? Just curious.
Good luck. Be cool. RastafarI.

cant vent closet i live in an apartment, dont have the kinda money to buy hid lights. i have bought 24 23 wat 2700k cfls for $12 1 orange extention cord 25' that i use for wires $6.95. 2 extra male plugs $2.95 wood for frames for lights $free cardboard for reflective hood $free(usmail priority mail boxes from ebay) silver duck tape 2 rolls 1 roll regular duck tape 11.95 thats the cost of my flower light setup. total $33.85 for 552 wats which they say replaces 2400 wats. i think that would be good to flower 1 to 4 plants and get good penitration. for me it is a mater of economics and also sound. i can explain a fan running but not that hum of lights. i can hear my Neighbor flush his toilet and walking around. they hear me and my wife caughing all the time(hehehehe they think it is because we have breathing problems) so there are many reasons that i can not do hid.(trust me i would love hid)
right now i am looking for a very strong airpump for very cheap.(me and my wifes monthly income is below 1000 living on ssi and soc sec sucks big time)
