Popping Weed

last night i had a bong, pretty good in size.
but the weed was popping like crazy, not normal pops that you get sometimes, but really popping and cracking. it also got me severely fucked. so i was wondering if you could help me out with a few questions.

Do you think it could of been laced? if so what with?
What is the popping?

Free-based cocaine? While evaporating it makes a distinct crackling sound (hence "crack"). Maybe you just had a fuck ton of seeds or really dry herb. Dry herb crackles sometimes.

seeds make a popping noise ... if it wasnt good weed chances are that there was a good amount of seeds in it , just make sure u get them all out before you pack up another bowl

haha it may have been crack but i doubt it and u sed it was real dry probably shwaggy weed with seeds. did u notice any seeds or did u just throw a chunk in the bong? you got high which is what matters.

there was no seeds in it, my friend told me about it so i put it out on the table and inspected it first, seemed normal

It wasnt laced. Weed doesnt get laced. It's so rare it's almost certain you'll never smoke or even see laced bud.

Something that no one else seems to have mentioned, the buds are made up of false seed pods. Normally they'd be a seed in it, but as the plant probably wasnt pollinated, theres no seed, just air, so as you burn the bud it might have been that.

Nothing to worry about though.

it might have been cocaine. i dont know about the popping sound cause ive never done it. but i know who people who have done it and it does severely fuck you up. so it could have been that.

lol, LIP is right, your not going to get crackling and popping from unflushed bud,it may taste like crap. and ppl dont lace bud becuase its a complete waste of money on the other end, ive gotten bud that pops becuase its so dry and if you dont grind it up good enough all the air pushes its way through when u light it, its not that abnormal in dryed out bud. Very dry stems do the samething if you dont take them out before smoking, i alwasy pulverize my bud and take out all the unecessary smoke.

I only bought weed one time that did something similar to this. It tasted like shit and when I lit it sparks flew everywhere and it was sizzling. And not sizzling like when you are taking a hard drag from the joint or anything, it was like popping and sizzling and bit my throat lol. I'm glad I never smoked weed like that again.

I beg to differ.....if you don't flush you will get a little crackle. Thats been my experience anyways.

I agree. Popping bud means it wasn't flushed on its nutrients, or you may be smoking a seed. Those are usually the 2 main reason why cannabis snaps and crackles. :)

If the weed looked clean, it wasn't laced. It would need a lot of 'foreign substance' of that type to have a noticable effect. Stop making rediculous statements, peoples.

Sometimes when weed is bone dry, it can crack, or at least that's with my experience.
