Dude...Fucking requiem of a dream man...wow. blew me away. I cried at the ending of it and its so fuckin upsetting but its fuckin great movie...... jesus yo...thats all...speechless

Yeah I love that movie.

We watched it in our Film crit class last semester and the damn bitch who was presenting it skipped past a few sceens.

I thought about arguing why would do that when ever sceen was important to the emotional value of the film but bit my tounge.

I mean everyone had to sign something saying they knew some of the films may be very graphic. WTF. I hate cencorship.

I'm trying to think. She skipped past the dildo thing at the very end and one of the really graphic drug parts. I can't remember exactly.

That movie was honest the most demented and twisted alter reality i've ever EVER seen. Most movies are meant to be trippy in that way but this one fuckin stomps them all.

It is a great movie, and also very realistic, actually. Shocking and sad and true. I hope everyone who thinks about using hard drugs watches the movie first. It reminded me of some of my lost friends.

thats kinda what i meant, it takes one of those twisted reality and presents it to you without losing any of the emotional trauma and stress and craziness.

i even welled up a little....when i got some dust in my eye at the end ;)

Jennifer Connelly can rape me anyday.

Its not that incredibly trippy, but it takes you about an hour after the end of the movie to finally get back to reality and get the taste out of your mouth. Being the film jackass that I am, you will notice right about the time they start running out of smack, the whole movie flow starts to go downhill. Everything gets more dramatic and louder and conditions begin to deteriorate quickly. Good stuff. Darren Arronofsky is the director. He has a new film out called "the fountain", which i hear is trippy. His lady stars in it.
