Crazy 40 minute Death Metal Song

For all you death metal fans out there, download a song called Crimson. It's by a band called Edge of Sanity. It's 40 minutes long and one of the most trippiest thing to listen to when you're high. Check it out.

40 mintues of death, I dont think I could do that if it sounds like the same song playing all 40 minutes,

but If i changes tempos and moods during the song I could listen

Hell yea, it changes tempos and mood many many times. It goes from growling and loud electric guitars and suddenly switches to a nice clean voice with acoustics. I should've mentioned that in the beginning but I forgot. Surprisingly there are only about 3 or 4 riffs that repeat but they are seperated by a good 5-10 minutes of playing. It's really an interesting song because every piece fits in so well with the one before it. After I finished listening to it once, I considered Opeth songs not as long lol.

I couldnt find it, but the do have a CD called Crimson II, are you sure that it isnt just a gapless album?

They have an album called Crimson, and there's only one song on the album, also called Crimson.

Crimson II is a sequeal album they released seven years later.

As for trouble finding where to download it, sorry I don't know. I just torrented (bittorrent) it off isohunt.com. Hope that helps.

Err sorry I haven't used a p2p program in like forever. Just a suggestion though, if you don't use bittorent, you should consider using it. You can download whole albums easily rather than downloading individual songs There are a bunch of torrents out there that have the entire discography of certain bands.

I'm about in the 2nd minute of the song. This is quite interesting, mellow stuff.

They have some good bridges, it's not boring or repetitive. I think I would've enjoyed it more if the guy didn't use a signature death metal voice so much and used a more melodic voice, which in the song he's shown he's capable of. It's the style of the genre I guess :)

If you liked this song then I suggest you check out this one other band, Opeth. They're pretty famous but surprisingly not a lot of people know them. Anyway, they're a melodic death metal band, and their songs also switch from death metal style vocals to clean vocals. They're probably the most talented bands I've ever heard in my life, and definetly worth a listen. Surprisingly, about half their material is acoustic. Also, their songs are on average 8-10 minutes.

sleep did an album called dopesmoker, 1 song thats about 1 hour and twelve minutes long. its very heavy stoner/doom metal like electric wizard or early isis. try any of the mentioned bands if you like slow, crushing metal, electric wizard are personal favourite. all downloadable [using utorrent etc] from torrentspy.
