How potent is shake?

Ok the really small sand looking stuff at the bottom of shake, that stuff is either really potent or not really potent which is it?

It's mids shake so I don't want to be smoking a bunch of nastier shit.

if by sand you mean christals/thc/scuff/whatever else you wanna call it, then it willl be superuber potent. however if you mean that your weed has been dusted with sand then.....not very potent at all lol

Haha nah no sand (i hope), it's just so tiny at the bottom of the bag it looks like sand, mostly green which is why I think it might just be pieces of bud/leave that have no thc?

if its bits of bud/leaf then smoke it, it will have thc in it, most of the cannabis plant has thc in it, just certain parts have more thc than other bits, buds the most potent...etc

It depends, if you're talking kief it's not always potent. Not all of the trichomes contain truly active chemicals and sunlight exposure can really have an effect(negative) on it during the grow. If it's from ordinary mids it won't be that great since those strains aren't bred for super high cannabinoid content and the trichomes mainly serve to absorb sunlight and protect the plant. Generally kif is much more potent than the bud it came from weight-wise but it really varies. Also watch out for punk dealers that really WILL try to sell you bud covered in stuff like fine sand or glass...

I'm not trying to be an ass but I just don't want people reading this thinking it's true. There is no strain out there that is bred that isn't meant to be potent, the only type of Cannabis grown that is meant to be not potent is Hemp strains which are used to produce hemp products. If you're weed is mids there is always something that contributed to the degrading of the quality of the weed. And trichomes protecting the plant is one of it's tasks rather it's from a high-quality strain or used for Hemp production. And sunlight has nothing to do with with the negative effects a plant might face during grow since the only time the sun is out is during the time the plant needs it anyways. Heat only affects trichomes in a negative way when the plants are harvesting.

LOL yeah I try not to flame some one for mentioning one thing totally inaccurate, but I was tempted :p. I gave you rep points though just for being nice :D.

And Reaper everything you just said in your second post is already understood, it's just that in your previous post you were on about a whole different thing that was really far from the facts lol. But also you have to understand that the UV-B light thing only really is something you should watch for if you're growing in high elevations, like guerilla growers and such. If you're growing like in your back-yard I don't think you'd have to worry about that too much. Also I just want to state that it's sorta foolish to worry about something like this because even if it is scientifically true you still get so high from a well grown crop that decreased potency almost seems...well untrue lol.

Number: He isnt talking about the kief. He is talking about the shake at the bottom of the bag. Sure, there is some kief in it, but its mostly leaf and pieces of bud that flaked off.

depends on what the shake is. If it is leaf, its not gonna be like stigmas or THC glands.

shake isnt bad. cuz its so small u can roll up a real nice blunt with it. downisde is sometimes little bits fly out into ur mouth

depends, if it's a lot of pieces of stem, or it could just be a lot of leaves. I say smoke that stuff.. if it's a lot of stems may be hard on the throat...
