white fuzz on soil?! help plz

ok so i started 12/12 yesterday and today when checking on them i noticed some white fuzzy substance on the top layer of soil in one of the pots. the white stuff is NOT on the plants, its on the top layer of soil. what is this and how do i get rid of it? is it mold?

Yes it is mold but i really have no idea how to get rid of it...never had that happen to me.

Mold likes wet and warm, so you likely are over-watering. Don't water every day. Get some fans in there to dry the top of the soil- I use computer fans. - Granny:hippy:

temps have dropped down to 55 farenheight and humidity is at 23% i checked today and most of the mold has dissapered. so i think ill be alright if i let the soil dry out and keep the temps down. thanks tho.
