Important show about heart disease

For those of y'all who care about these things, there's a really good show on tonight on PBS called The Hidden Epidemic: Heart Disease in America. I know some of you are still very young, but this is an important topic and one that affects nearly everyone in some way or another. I'm only in my 40s and am slender and have low cholesterol and blood pressure and am very fit, but I have it myself--a disease of arrhythmia. So it can happen to anyone. Watch it if you can. My husband would probably have posted about this but is late getting home from the hospital, where he treats folks with, yep, heart disease.

I liked the show. But you were right, Birdie, that it didn't do justice to non-coronary artery disease like valve or rhytm disease. I know it made you sad seeing the CHF patient, the future of your mom.
