Saliva tests?

My friend just got a job and he said they drug tested him with a cotton swab, im guessing testing his saliva. I was thinkin bout gettin a job there too, i was wondering how long thc stays in your saliva?

MRB041 - My research from other forums indicates:

"Mouth swab saliva drug tests prime detection range for THC is normally up to 24 hours, but detection up to 48 hours has been noted, so 72 hours should be considered quite safe. The best way to pass them is simply by abstinance from THC, but gargling often and well with Listerine mouthwash may help reduce the detection period slightly."

hey thats not bad. id rather have the mouth swab than the piss test.
