Mini AK-47 42 Days Old

This is a litle experiment I am doing. I started this AK47 from seed on 12/12 from day one. It sprouted and about 14 days later it showed its female pistals. The plant is now 42 days old from the day it broke the surface. I know I will not get the plant to its full 4 foot potential. I want to see how big this will actually get. It is now 8 inches tall. The fan leaves only reached to 3 leaves instead of 5+. Crystals have already formed on the buds and fan leaves. I will update in another 2 weeks or so. Im hoping to get it the size I want in another 4 weeks which will take it from sprouting to harvest in 9 weeks total, cutting the time by 4 weeks. I know that I will not get the quantity I would usually get by vegging for 4-6 weeks but like I said, this is an experiment I am trying.

Has anyone else ever tried this with plants. Please let me know if you have and the results you got. Peace...MrP.

That's actually a kind of neat idea. I'm trying to get some Loy-Ryder seeds since they require no vegitation. Pretty cool really. Tell me your turn out. I wouldn't do that unless like I had seeds and stuff to spare though since the turnout won't be near what the turnout would be if you were to vegitate them.

That is the only way I grow....12/12 from the start..and have been doing so for over 10 years now...you are correct...you will not get the full height or yield, but turnaround time is cut by 1/3. Try cutting or pinching the main stem...you will get 2 colas instead of one and you will also get additional stretch from the two new shoots.

one other note...try this with strains that lean towards sativa heavy influence as you will still wind up with 4-5 foot plants. The last Thai batch I grew under this regimen topped out at just under 5 feet..and the yield was prime for a thai.

I will definatly try it somemore but with a sativa influence next time. Also if you only have one space you can continue to plant at differant times without worrying about light cycles.

peacemost exallent is to top and tie down from a seed like i have been doing for yrs,,i tie down at less than six inches ,,bushy and i use a 1000 on one plant only,,here comes the forest

plan on cloning mothers and flowering as soon as rooted...sea of green type of thing...got to be a gal, and 8 or 9 weeks total ...like your experiment....look forward to seeing your progress...peace :)

Well not long after I took the pics. I had to chop down the Mini AK because my G/F decided to invite a fellow smoker over and witness my creation. So right there on the spot I tore everything down and hung and dried the 28 day old Mini AK. It was a waste as far as I am concerned but then again I needed a break for a while. The bud was dried and weighed about 6 grams, a little less than a 1/4 of very very nice smoke. Not bad for 28 days of 12/12 from a seed to cut down and hang. I have to say that I will never smoke AK again. 1 hit sent me flying, then another hit just knocked me on my ass literally. 10 Minutes later from force of habit took my 3rd hit. It was too much for me. Gave a wicked stone with an anxiety attack. I was way too stoned. Too powerfull for me. I am totally amazed at my creation of just 28 days though. I wouldnt expect to get an ounce or more per plant this way but I can only wonder what size it would have been if I had let her go another 3-4 weeks. 6 grams in 28 days from the time it sprouted with the energy savings also with always having the lights on 12/12.
