View Full Version : IS EVERYONE BLIND?

The entire 1st world civilization is a lie, we are controlled by corporations and brainwashed into thinking everything is safe - as long as they check our shoes at the airport and as long as they are allowed to wiretap our phones illegally. The whole evil force making this possible? TELEVISION, most people don't have enough brain power to understand that when they watch any form of TV they are opening themselves up to a type of influence that is not detectable to them but controls them in ways that turn my stomach.

The news tells us about all the risks we need to be aware of every day, making us into paranoid crackpot who want to stomp terrorism out of the world even if the cause of terrorism is the fact that 1st world countries have elevated themselves and withdrawn from the rest of the world to live in their paradises while the other half of the world suffers horribly for it.

Did you know what half the worlds population, thats right THREE FUCKING BILLION PEOPLE have to live on LESS than $2 american dollars a day.

But when we live a life where we can drive to a fast food restaurant and get a double cheese burger at 3 am, or hop in our minivans and "change the climate" and the laugh about how you're changing the climate. It makes me fucking sick.

Where did humanity loose it's way. I guess because of the fact that we are a bunch of monkeys we will do whatever it takes to make ourselves more comfortable. Too bad the dinosaurs went extinct otherwise our planet would be a monster planet, with 3 story flesh eating monsters fighting one another for world domination. Which for dinosaurs would mean all they had to do was eat and play.

But back to the origin of this weird ranting thread: TV, how do all the people in the USA NOT REALIZE ITS BRAINWASHING THEM? If you looked forward to watching the superbowl commercials as much, or more than the game you are a brainwashed idiot. If you watch MTV and VH1 or CNN and FOX you are brainwashed, and THINK before you let your TV raise your kids with Nickelodeon.

We are kept in a state of fear and at the same time offered goodies like SUV's and fancy cell phones and all inclusive resorts in foreign countries where the security guards will keep the desperately poor population of said country from ruining your jacuzzi time.

IDK what kind of conclusion to make of all this but i know that america is going to hell, no ifs ands or buts.

I have come to a conclusion, i've come to it many times now but have never been able to put it down, mostly because im stoned when i think about it.

the reason they want us to be in constant fear is to root out anyone who acts suspicious or 'different' from the accepted norm. Example: arab dude probably will think twice about putting on a turban now before heading outside for obvious reasons. they offer us all this shit to keep us distracted, if we are too busy working to pay off our ford explorers then its good for the government because we sure as hell aren't gonna pay attention to them, its good for the corporations who sell us all this junk because they make money, and also it keeps us working for money which is the force that drives the entire economy of this country.

theres plenty of stuff i havent worked out about how the govt. is controlling us and using us toward their own end, but i will bet my worthless life that its happening.

i wish i could show you how the govt. kills anyone with enough power to sway the people unless that person is also a mindless idiot. this is the reason 50cent is still alive and jimi hendrix is dead. musicians especially have amazing power to influence the decisions and views of the people, so if they aren't in tandem with the "leadership" in america theres a good chance your career will be cut short by your untimely death or nobody will ever publish your music. the corporations control everything we see and hear, which are amazingly influential forms of data gathering to each and every human being.

Well i dont fucking watch TV for one, and if i even suggest all this to anyone in real life i am laughed at or called a complete moron or a paranoid lunatic. makes you wonder tho.

my plan is to be ready for whatever is going to happen. it could be worldwide destabilization of power resulting in a dramatic backwards shift in social, scientific and cultural progress.

hopefully it will end without a giant nuclear war but i dont see how thats possible.

so many opposite powers have nuclear weapons capability that its only a matter of time before something bad happens, my first bet will be israel blowing the fuck outta pakistan or vice versa. who cares, all i know is that when it happens im gonna be the first one collecting supplies and heading to a national forest.

I'm only playing the game and doing everything smoothly because i want to integrate into their world, make lots of money and fall out of society for the rest of my life.
I've done horrible things for their government
I've been a second class citizen because of a 'racial handicap'
I hate that i was (and all of my friends still are) unknowing pawns force fed the false inspirations of the American dream to only further unknown players profits. I'm not saying there is a super dark organization making the calls in the world and nobody knows about them.
I am saying we (society) are a very unstable machine making money for the man. 80% of every dime you will make throughout your entire life will be given to the exact same people. The worlds biggest pyramid scheme.

Play the game, and get out when you can live comfortably without them.

haha my first 'crazy' post.

....what do you plan on doing about this?

Exactly.

The majority of people complain about messed up this world is, but do they do anything about it, no, they still go to fast food and talk on their cell phones. Talk is cheap.

I am not blind to these events, but what am I supposed to do about it? Am I suppose to quit work and become homeless because I don't agree with the governments terms? No. If you want to live, you have to live by the rules, and if you don't want any rules, just move to Iraq and go gun ho where the government there has fallen.

Without control, other countries will submit to that behavour.

If you want changed, maybe consider running for politics and changing the system from the inside, because from the outside, it's either follow the rules, or leave. As a single person, you are powerless against them, so if you want change, then make some changed, but saying everyone else is wrong when you do jack shit, doesn't do anything and is all hot air.

maby it is time for the pepole of this planet to stand up against the people that are running the countrys, all you hear about is "evil" government does this and that, well shit will only get worse untill WE the PEOPLE, the ones that make things happen by working, not telling people how to live their lives, take over... but then it will probably start all over again..

So many are quick to call you crazy if you view the world that way, but its kind of funny, its a good view to have even if its not true. If what they say is true (money, big house, cool car = happiness) then this view works well anyways.

Id rather disassociate myself with the Man entirely, that way if there really is a heaven and a hell, my soul will be saved.

I'd rather do the right thing even if that means an unhappy solitary life, knowing that there is nobody in the world like me.

First of all, its not a system where u either have to live by their rules or get out. thats what they want you to think (sounds dumb but really wtf makes you think that?) if i were to try and change the govt fro the inside dont you think id be better off getting a tattoo on my forehead reading "fuck the govt." and then running for congress.

If you don't have the same opinion as them, what makes you think they'll let you take a seat in congress? I dont see any green party or anarchist party members in congress, just democrat and republican, two of the most similar parties in existence. they only disagree on stupid issues that don't even matter.

For one thing, im not calling everyone else stupid, im calling everyone else who IS stupid stupid. so if you aren't stupid then quit bitching, or if you are stupid and are bitching then shut up, i dont care.

you get to include yourself in whatever category you want, i didn't do it for you.

unless you're one of those people who will throw a hissy fit if they dont get to watch the newest top model or american idol or any other fucking MTV VH1 program. the thing is, most of these people are too stupid to see that they're stupid, i group these people with people who will use arguements like "well prove it exists" when debating global warming.

LOOK OUT YOUR FUCKING WINDOW, SEE THE 3/4 MILE STRETCH OF BROWN ABOVE THE TINY LITTLE BLUE BAR AT THE BOTTOM? THATS OUR ATMOSPHERE. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE ALL BLUE.

Hendrix choked to death, in his sleep, from barbituates - which he had a long history of abusing.

Timothy Leary was OK in some respects, but cracked up from time to time - and it was just as much his own fault as the government's. Albert Hoffmann, however, is 101 years old - and still going strong.

The worst yet least recognized example of this is probably Nikoli Tesla, the dude who invented AC current (without this you can kiss electricity goodbye).

Well this guy was a fucking genius, but the govt. poisoned him, ending his life early (he survived the original poisoning) why? Because he was researching, and very close to a breakthrough on a technology that would make any modern science enthusiast shit their pants with glee. This technology was FREE WORLDWIDE WIRELESS ENERGY.

Think about that, he found a way of taking energy in the atmosphere that is created by the friction of out planet moving through space (replenishing and virtually unlimited) the same kind of energy used when you rub a balloon on your hair and stick it to the wall. He found a way to harvest this, and broadcast it in a way most similar to radio transmission.

This would have revolutionized the entire world, in ways that are unimaginable. But nobody could control the use of this energy if the technology was released. So the govt. quickly pulled every single drop of funding he had and tried to kill him.

This kind of bullshit makes me hope they all get blown to shit by nuclear bombs.

I'll be sittin here with my carrot juice and a joint, giggling like a girl. :hippy: :hippy: :hippy:

But for everyone who asks what im doing to help? Im trying to spread the word which is more powerful than anyone could be in a political position.

Hey, I'd LOVE to see it become legal - but we're not the only place where it's not. I dno't think that it is legal anywhere, even by Rx.

Hoffmann was not a big fan of Tim Leary, whom he believed screwed things up and caused setbacks by his irresponsible behavior.

SwirlyMass, I fucking know exactly what you mean...

I've watched TV many times just thinking in the back of my head how retarded some of the things I'm hearing/seeing/witnessing are, and at the same time I know that most likely 100% of people I know personally are sitting watching the same thing as me and blindly swallowing the network's feed

Honestly I have nothing really original to contribute to this thread aside from support for what you're saying. I am barely any kind of leader and I do not know of any avenue to start down in order for the end of the road to lead to a better tomorrow. I could fast, spend no money, and live on the streets. In the end I would die in a foolish way with no message received to those around me. I use many resources daily, many more than 1 human being should be credited to per day. Yet I don't stop. I AM all talk. Openly admitted, I am a lost kid that knows there is something incredibly wrong yet I do nothing to better this situation. How can I? I can just worry about the space directly around me and make sure everything runs smoothly within that space. What is the most frustrating thing for me (aside from having depression) is that I live within this isolated world of plastic and dreams to make more green papers than your fellow man, and yet I know I will never leave this place. I will remain in this superficial world with a nagging in the back of my mind that what I am participating in is wrong and is bringing about a destruction to mankind. All I have done up until now is remind myself not to get sucked in.

A personal dillema for me right now is that I think my depression has allowed my thought processes to pick up what is going on around me, but once I cure my depression will I fall back into a stupor of greed and no substance? I'd like to think that I won't, I mean I won't forget that which I know now, but I am still a little afraid it might not mean all that much to me once I have my well being back and I am free to actually begin living my life free of this battle going on within my head.

Of course an individual alone cannot change how the world works.

The world is driven by money and selfishness, our leaders cannot look 300 years ahead of them while making important decisions, and that is too bad.

Yet, it is with a penny that we make a dollar.

That's where you are wrong my friend.
Ants, as we know it, do not possess a level of consciousness as developed as we do. This is why, we, as human beings have the power of change.

Look what happened to the Earth since WE appeared, there are more than just families trying to make it in in this world, there are corporations, industries, politics, wars, etc.

So to be clear, you think everyone's brainwashed eh? And you want us to stop watching tv then. Is that all? I know plenty of folks that might watch an hour of tv a month maybe. Are they brainwashed? I'm confused. You seem pretty peeved at the gov't or media or whatever, but if doesn't sound like you have a very stable argument.
Why and how will not watching tv 'fix' the problem. Explain. :)

Yes. Ignorance is bliss. Enjoy life instead of trying to find all it's flaws.

No, ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance is slavery my friend. Slavery to the system that wants to use you as a pawn to further its goals. It is just like the matrix. Our society, tv included, is like a prison for our mind. It tells what to think, what to desire, what to despise, what to eat and drink, what to value, among other things.

And also about Nikola Tesla.

When he supposedly developed free electrical energy, or at least discovered it, one of the electric giants at the time was quoted as saying, "If people can just draw electricity out of the air, then where do you put the meter?"

Those in power only want more money and power. We have to have some sort of social revolution. How we will have that revolution i have no fucking clue. Either the people will rise up and overcome the gov't or governments will bomb the shit out of each other and the survivors will have to build from the ground up. But either way, in my mind, the future is bright and full of promise.

Nochowderforyou
02-13-2007, 01:43 AM
I just have to add, that not everyone is unhappy in this world. Not everyone thinks we are being controlled by anyone. I don't own a fancy car, a car period! But I have a nice view from my small apartment, and I don't make much money, but I have enough to eat, have a roof over my head, and still buy weed with. I'm by far unhappy.

If you are unhappy with things, maybe you should look at your life and figure out why. Not everyone is unhappy, and the people who are, there is usually a reason behind it, and only they can fix it.

I like having a TV, and a pool table in my living room. I have my guitar, and my music and my cat. I have friends and a paycheque that comes every 2 weeks. I have no car or a huge bank account, but I am happy.

You obviously have a computer, with a home, that is warm, powered by electricity. Stop being so selfish and maybe think of the those 3 BILLION PEOPLE who live off $2 US dollars, who don't have that luxery. You have cash to buy cannabis, think of those who don't. You have heat, think of those who don't, food, etc...there's a pattern, follow it and be grateful for what you have. :)

And I happen to like watching the commercials on the super bowl. The reason is because ususally the funny ads are spread out throughout a program, but the bowl lets you watch them all at once.

everyone knows about homeless shelters, green peace, etc....

we want something big..you can't google a revolution.

it sounds cheesy, but can't you smell a revolt? all it takes is one spark to set off a powder keg. each dissatisfied person is like a tiny grain of that powder, trying to find a match to ignite the fury within themselves

did you know this world belongs to the homeless man just as much as it does a Finance Minister or a Secretary of State? apparently some people have forgotten that..

Would i be wrong in saying that if 10% of the general population gave their time to the "googleable" causes, that said revolution would be set into place. You have to start somewhere, and ideas are the building blocks, and revolution is at the top.
Don't get it twisted thinking change happens without cause.
In a peaceful revolution, you need peaceful 'gunpowder'
Discontent is not going to cause changes we are seeking....

Yes pretty most everyone is blind. More unconscious than blind.

Some people are meant to be unaware drones following the crowd and never questioning anything.

The word needs the clueless.

They take the heat off the crafty people.

It is so easy to be successful when the masses are following the leaders.

U do realize that Tesla's wireless power transmission tests proved him wrong right? The power (literally power as in watts) of a signal transmitted this way decreases extremely rapidly... it is shown in the mathematical equation where you must divide by the distance squared to get power (meaning that as the distance increases the power will increase at an increasing rate ie: fast)

He is nevertheless my favorite historical figure and in my opinion the most influencial man of the 20th century

so you think society is caught up in some game that you have had the realizations to be impervious to? Get over your arrogance first and then maybe youll see a few things about the world your own game got in the way of before. You are no better or worse than anyone on this planet

Well basically the government has already got us beat, if you begin to think independently and rebelling, and your just shunned as a "Hippie" or "Some crazy Dude". People judge people, thats how us humans work, our first instinct when we see someone spouting off about the government is not to believe them, but to view them as a crazy person, but who taught you that? The government of course. The thing is, if every person had the idea and faith in their heads that if they themselves do their part, and trust everyone else to do their part, we can beat the system, we're just nowhere near that stage yet though, and I don't know if we'll ever be. A classic example would be a group of friends who are about to pull a prank and moon someone, now they get ready to do it but at the last minute they pussy out, why? Because everyone did not trust each other to follow through, and they did not want to be that one person left doing it by themselves, because that's pointless, isn't it? No one wants to go on a crusade to fight the power if no one else is along for the ride, and well the government does their job of keeping us in check, people like us who realize this kind of shit are automatically put in a situation where we are at and disadvantage if we try anything, so therefore we don't try anything. It's all a system set up for us from the day we're born, you follow the government you succeed, you try to rebel, you get fucked over.

the world is fucked up

you are totally right about tv, its a global mind control device. someone said this..

"I've watched TV many times just thinking in the back of my head how retarded some of the things I'm hearing/seeing/witnessing are, and at the same time I know that most likely 100% of people I know personally are sitting watching the same thing as me and blindly swallowing the network's feed"

i know exactly how that is! like i can really relate, ive thought that so many times. all the shit on tv treats the public like they are total idiots, commercials are so and brainwashng it sickens me, moron tv MTV is the worst! its sensless idealistic crap that tricks people into seeing the world falsely.

gotta go to school now. more later!

I like some commercials. I hate some. I don't think people are brainwashed, but advertising companies know more about our habbits then we do sometimes. It's not just TV, it's everywhere.

Take a look around the grocery store sometime. Ever notice how most are laid out basically the same? They do that for a reason. The dairy products are ususally on one side of the store and fruits and veggies on the other. The meat is allmost allways in the back and everything else is in the middle. They do this to maximize the ammount of the store you have to walk through to get what you're wanting. In order to get to the chicken, youll have to walk down an isle that may have an end cap with a great sale and all of a sudden you're buying it when you didn't go in for it.

People know how we think that's never gonna change. It's when they try to change how we thing that we should be worried.

And yes MTV is the worst case of actual brainwashing. I can't stand that channel....and it started out as such a great idea...:(

Think outside the box. Do you think millions of people like us are fucking pissed merely at some guy selling his goods for some cash? The blind consumer driving his car to the mall to buy a $120 pair of pants before he goes home to his house about 100x bigger than the average non-1st World person's house, this is the type of "ignorantly blissed" person that does not understand that a corporation making profit is much more than just "Make Product, Sell Product."

A good song on a topic of this thread is "Go Humans" by Bad Astronaut.

Here are the lyrics:

Go human time bombs
Go robotic believers
Potential holy war reserves

Go great destroyers
Killers of all they nurture
Legacy of genocide, rulers, and tyrants

'Cause why do we have to be
Perversions of our innate pride and arrogance?

Have to learn
Have to learn
Have to learn
We have to swallow

Go humans, go destroyers
Go until it's gone

What would it cost you?
A few things you thought you needed
your death routine, your precious things
Your life in vain

Boy do we have to be
Competitors to be the worst in history

Cannot learn
Cannot learn
Cannot learn
We cannot store it

Go humans, go destroyers
Go until it's gone

I lived in a third world (Maybe 2nd world Im not positive) country for eight years of my life. In Thailand I saw people living in shacks loving their life much more than i ever did. It changed my life. Money is not what is important in this world and you can be very happy living on the bare minimum. There will be happy and unhappy people in this world and its up to them to find something in their life that makes them smile. I can help them financially but not emotionally. That's everyone individual job.

If it's money than work hard to do your best but to some thats not what it's about. Hating on the advertising companies for some wild conspiracy could not be very good for your personal happiness.
