stale weed?

I got new weed today. But when i break it it doesnt crunch, if its stale can i still smoke it?

I've smoked weed that had to have been months old at least. I do often, even. I'm always finding weed that I forgot about in my apartment or car. Those are really good days.

Dude, it doesnt really matter how old and dry it is. If it doesnt have any mold, doesnt smell like ass, and isnt covered in shit, toke it up!

When you say it doesn't "crunch", that just means the buds aren't really dry. They are a little moist and don't break apart simply because they aren't dry.

Weed doesn't really go stale as there are no eggs, flour and sugar added to it. ;)

The weed that you're talking about sounds fresh because it's still moist. The stuff that crunches is probably older. Don't keep it airtight, and leave it in a paper bag to keep the light off of it for a day or so and it will be fine. Of course, if you want to store some for the future, and keep it fresh, you can put it in a ziplock, Mason jar, etc. Again, keep it in the dark and light-proof.
